  1. Wow, Football Team fans were really hoping to keep him. Sucks he went to ATL. Good hire for them.
  2. Plus, like... DJ was wide open in the end zone not even 10 yards away and he missed him completely. I understand that since the call was late he might not have been sure of the route DJ was running without hesitating, but he was WIDE open. A starting QB would’ve taken accountability for that and admitted that he fuged up. “I have to make a better throw in that situation”
  3. Definitely! Not having to lose one of our best young players in Burns, CMC, or Brown and getting rid of Teddy would be a perfect scenario. Losing the picks would suck, but like others said, secondary guys like Jamal Adams are being traded for 2 first round picks. Trading 3 for a young, All-Pro caliber QB while still getting a 3rd rounder back is a no brainer. Losing the second rounder would suck too, but you gotta do what you gotta do. After listening to what Rhule wants in his franchise QB, Watson fits the bill to a T
  4. I’d love to have Stafford, he’s a great QB who has been hampered by a bad organization. The injury thing is overblown. In his last 10 years, only in one season (2019) did he not play the full 16 games. However, I wouldn’t want to trade multiple picks for the guy. As much as I’d love either Watson or Stafford, I want to just draft a QB at 8 and roll with it since I feel like the compensation otherwise is just too much. Trey Lance at #8
  5. I wouldn’t ever pull for a divisional team to win the SB, but I’d be a lot less upset if they win than ATL or NO. Rooting for GB hard this game. Yeah, Rodgers is smug as fug, but that dude is so good
  6. “Sometimes, I’ll start a sentence, and I don’t even know where it’s going. I just hope I find it along the way.”
  7. Coming more around to the hire as the days go by. He wasn’t my first choice, but he seems like a good option. I just want to see him have a press conference so I can hear from the man himself. But by all things I’ve seen, he’s not afraid to call you out on things he doesn’t agree with, which is what we need
  8. Ohh boy, I may need to go to the hospital in 4 hours. Seems like a great hire. I’m glad Rhule isn’t afraid of bringing in outside help instead of promoting unqualified people from within
  9. Good for him, he had a great career. Leaves with his health intact and a lot of money. Can’t ask for much more than that. If the Chargers weren’t so poorly run he could’ve had a ring, but then again we’ve never even had back-to-back winning seasons, so pot, meet kettle
  10. I’d love to get Watson. People are acting like the cap is a big problem, but the Saints have been skirting the cap for 10 years. There are definitely ways to do it. We could’ve been a winning team this year (or least much closer to it) with a QB capable of throwing more than 15 touchdowns a season as a career best
  11. Yeah, I’ve always thought it was kind of weird how some GM’s had that absolute power. Like, coaches are the ones on the field having to deal with these guys week in and week out on game day. Unfortunately, Ron isn’t very good at picking the best players to play. I’m expecting consistent Jeff Fisher 7-9 territory for the Football Team for the next few years
  12. No surprise, when I saw they interviewed him he was a lock for the job. Ron’s obsession with cronyism will never change
