  1. He's young and suffered the injury in the superbowl. He's still very much a pro bowl linebacker. Terrell Suggs suffered the same injury and went on to play at an elite level for 5 more years
  2. I don't get why Greenlaw went for that cheap. I would much rather have Greenlaw than Wharton who we paid more for. We still need competent linebackers.
  3. I mean we did sign one of the NFL's best guards last free agency
  4. He won't get a first with his contract. I'd pay the 2nd or 3rd for him no problem, but of course that means he is taking XL's spot and we just drafted XL in the first round :(. Metcalf/Coker/AT is a good 1-3 Absolutely would trade Horn for Metcalf and then go all in on the defense in the draft and FA if that was an option
  5. The Ickey draft, he got the entire top 10 completely correct, even the order of the Giants two picks. He definitely is the best of the business right now. He also locked the Panthers to Jaycee Horn 2 weeks before the draft, and most everyone here didn't see that pick coming when his name was called on draft night
  6. I'm pretty sure Charlie Campbell has called every single Panthers first pick correct since the Brian Burns draft. Clearly a leak in the Panthers building that goes beyond ownership and front offices. Panthers really like to lock on to one particular player a few weeks before the draft happens
  7. I like Wilson but he is not worth the 8th overall pick Now if we trade down to like 20 and pick up a high 2nd or a 2026 first, and then trade 20 for Wilson, sure
  8. Bryce probably had too much on his plate being the starter, even in the offseason, but being the backup for 6 weeks, he could simply just focus on his footwork and urgency in the huddle/pocket, and he got that fixed pretty quick. That's what's remarkable about this - there's QBs that have been in the league for years and years that haven't fixed that yet. Bryce's pocket presence is already levels ahead of Darnold who has been in the league 5+ years and just went 14-3. Gives me high hopes for Bryce.
  9. His pocket presence, ability to avoid pressure and ability to stay calm and deliver the big throw is a total 180 from his first 18 games and makes me believe he can work himself into a perennial top 10 QB Like I have no clue how he was able to fix that so quickly. There are QB's who have been in the league 5+ years and haven't figured that out (Darnold)
  10. Honestly I'd rather Morgan pull a Hurney and take a linebacker. Walker or Jihaad Campbell. I think the line can be fixed...our linebackers were atrocious this year however. The league is trending towards the running game again and we don't have a chance if we don't have linebackers that can stop the run. Does Hurney have a job? He should consult Morgan on the 1st round pick and that pick only. Hurney was incredible at eying all-pro talent in the first, but thats about all he could do
  11. I think if Hunter, Grant, McMillian and Starks are gone trade down to the 12-15 range and take Jihaad Campbell. We need smart tough players in the front 7 more than just a pass rusher
  12. "Team sources say Graham has a bad body and looks like “the marshmallow man.” They think he could be a mid-first-round pick." That doesn't inspire confidence
  13. i said it before during and after the draft, i wanted Ladd or Mitchell and didn’t see it with Legette. I honestly think Morgan pulled a Hurney/Armanti Edwards and took Legette because local star
  14. the passes were pinpoint even though the receivers were covered. bryce deserve credit here. that’s a franchise QB drive right there and he did it with more confidence than i’ve ever seen from him in the pros
  15. I was screaming for Frazier during the draft. Its not hindsight when you are just right. Zach Frazier is already one of the best centers in the NFL and the Steelers are one of the best teams. What's new. https://x.com/Alex_Kozora/status/1866323128617513407
  16. I'm starting to think we will pick in the 8-12 range with the way the defense is playing. However, I'd love to get Hunter or McMillian. This team is dying for a big play weapon. I don't think you realize how having a Chase/Lamb type WR would open up things for Chuba and the running game.
  17. I never thought this would happen, just being honest. I gave up on him. But the dude let the game slow down and now he can escape and step up in the pocket. He couldn’t do that before. That alone should give him another year. This team just can’t find WRs to save its life.
  18. Canales is that dude. Great calls today. We have a coach and maybe a QB if we can get someone that can catch balls
  19. This is such a predicted loss as I can ever remember. We do not match up well with this team.
  20. Its easier to build the defense in free agency than get a #1 weapon. Take Hunter or McMillan if available. If not, hopefully a QB is and trade down
  21. Jameis threw for 500 yards and lost. That's who he is. You can't be serious wanting him as your QB. At least Bryce has a (small) chance of becoming the guy. Jameis has no chance
  22. WR harder to get. Get one of those top 2 WR's in the draft (I think Hunter can play CB for us too, wouldn't mind if he was the pick at all). If both are gone, trade as far down as possible hoping to get a #1 next year or at least another #2 and build the defense and O-line
  23. I gotta hand it to Bryce. He’s been ridiculously accurate and the receivers are failing him
  24. Panthers aren't winning another game this season so I don't know what you are worried about. We'll pick top 4 with a 3-14 record. I do think a team will finish 5-12 and end up picking 10th, because there are that many bad teams
