I know of no true number one qb in the nfl who would be fine with it If he is, and if what Scott F described is true, he is not someone iId ever want as my number one option at qb These guys are supposed to be leaders his money is guaranteed whether he is fine with it or not however and that’s also part of the problem but we all know this

The process of reading coverages and the time it takes him to do so, much less correctly, isn’t nfl level. It never will be he is going to walk away with $23 million from the Panthers. I want him to take his $23 million, get a surf board and go back to San Clemente you can put lipstick on a pig, but it’s still a pig in my Panthers fandom, the worst nightmare of my life was hearing he was being brought here he hasn’t disappointed

As much as I despise Rhule and would like nothing better than for him to rot in the bed he made, neither the players or the fans can stomach another year of Darnold don’t forget those players have incentives in their contract and some actually aspire to, you know, make it to a playoff game, and that is absolutely not happening with Darnold. Too, do not expect the fans in the stadium to be anything other than opposing fans why travel to see the worst qb in the league look like the worst qb in the league it’s called Hope…and right now, this franchise and it’s fans, have none. losing hope in September is a helluva lot worse for a pro football team than losing it in December

Baker’s gone the question is which team. I suspect come this Friday or Saturday, it will be settled I just don’t see anyway, other than salary, that isn’t going to be the preferred choice. Having been to games during the Rhule, Tepper, Darnold era, I see no way the franchise can trot Darnold back out there I’m having a hard time even seeing Rhule back out there much less Darnold people who only see this team on tv have no idea how ugly game day has gotten incompetence on a pro level is not easily forgiveable by the home fans I look for the Panthers to get a LT at 6 in the draft if one is there Then, i see them either getting Mayfield or Jimmy one a one year rental for a next year 3rd or 4th if that trading team takes half the salary they may also trade to get a qb in the second rd to groom in addition to either mayfield or Jimmy i would not be surprised at a release of Darnold after all, what’s worse for Rhule then the media constantly reminding him of his mishandling of the most important position on the field then having an $18 million backup as the tv cameras pan to him handling the clipboard if no LT is there, and no trade partner, then all bets are off. DE or Kyle Hamilton, come on down

He was meant to be a placeholder for one year We know the rest (why and who wanted him in Charlotte) He is backup now. Right now, this franchise and fan base needs competent. I don’t care who it is.
