The SEC is basically the NFL's farm system and generally gets the majority of the best prospects. That's why people bring it up so much. Young has played well against the LSU and Georgia defenses. 2021 game logs. 2022 game logs. So, I think he can handle playing against NFL defenses. Every human body is different. Just because two people are similar in size, doesn't mean they'll both stay injured.

I would guess the producers/writers did the first two eps so closely to the game to show game fans that they understand the source material. Now, it'll be interesting to see how closely they stick to the game the rest of the series. Will they try to milk the games and add stuff to keep those checks coming in for several seasons or will they just stick to the games' story and end things after 2-3 seasons?

Young missed one game in college playing SEC competition. Everybody, not matter how large or small, has only so many hits they can take. In wrestling they call it a bump card. Young has shown that he's more durable than fragile so far.

I think them finding the bones/crashed plane and then Ellie's reaction and wonder to the truck did more for their connection than the flashback did. They hadn't really been looking for a battery since they left the safe zone. Your point about the letter and Joel is good though.

As I replied before, I don't remember the cussing in the game since I haven't played it in years.

It was a good ep with great acting by the two dudes that took center stage, but the whole flashback felt out of place and really didn't have much to do with the story.

HBO previewed their new shows for this year before tonight's Ep. True Detective is returning with Jody Foster. That could be interesting and hopefully it returns to that first season goodness.
