  1. We played that game last week. You can go back in the post history and read the answer if you want to.
  2. Thomas wasn't a first round pick. He was a fourth, so stop shifting goalposts. And since those charts are what's out there to go by, you ok with just drafting centers, tackles, and guards in the first? Are you also alright with never drafting another first round WR(especially in the top ten), no matter who they are(Harrison jr for example), since they hit even less than TEs do? Speaking of Harrison Jr, he didn't even put up 900 yards last season, so he couldn't have been worth his draft status by your logic.
  3. Just what the chart says, hit rates by position for the first round. It's for 2013-2017 and I got it from here, but if that doesn't work for you, I have another. This chart shows the hit rate of 2000-2019. And it came from here, here, and here.
  4. Oh, since it's just stats and hit rate you care about. According to this, nobody should take any position but centers and RBs in the first round.
  5. Don't care. Dude proved he could carry an offense this past season and that's about all you can ask for from a college prospect.
  6. I hope so on both counts. I like Warren as a prospect better than any of the others that have been listed as top 10 guys.
  7. This team hasn't done any sort of smokecreen under Tepper. Under Tepper where there has been smoke, there's been fire.
  8. Book is still open on Pitts. I could be wrong, but doesn't he still have a year or two on his rookie deal? That said, he has been trending downwards. Wasn't Ebron derailed by injuries? Doesn't matter who it is or their position if they never play. Howard? Don't remember him.

  10. Newton isn't the reporter fans need or want, but he's the reporter the Panthers deserve.
  11. The smart teams have always known this. Sadly, the Panthers have never been a smart team.
  12. Course not. Gotta go with the high RAS scoring, high potential, often hurt, already injured guys instead. Get your head on straight, man! This is the Panthers after all.
  13. Nope. Got something worse before that happened, Tepper.
  14. Tepper and Co need to get over this RAS bullcrap. Get actual productive football players, not athletes that they think they can coach into being football players.
  15. I agree with almost everything in this post. The difference is I would take a TE at 8 in a normal draft if I thought he was a dynamic playmaker.
  16. RIP. Saw this earlier and they're saying even the dog died.
  17. You've fallen into the trap. You're looking for an athlete and not a football player. Warren has improved every year in college and can play the game and produce at a high level. That's all you can really ask for from a prospect.
