  1. Arizona is up 1 on Princeton going into the half. That's pretty sad.
  2. Did you watch the game? UVA's loss was bad since they really only had to stop one guy.
  3. Don't crow. Your boys couldn't even make the tourney and had to turn down a NIT invite in embarrassment.
  4. I really don't have any idea who is going to win though I did see something earlier today saying Houston is the favorite.
  5. Brackets are busted already. Furman upsets Virginia after Virginia's PG made an epic boneheaded decision and tried to throw the ball the length of the court to kill the clock.
  6. Furman has battled back and taken the lead over Virginia on TruTV
  7. Or you want more land/a bigger house for the same money and can live without all the night life.
  8. I know. It was a joke post in reply to @Basbear
  9. Sharpen your knives and bring it @Basbear Dude only played 12 games his second and third years in the league. His first three years he averaged 813 yards a season on an average 160 carries. In his contract year, he finally plays the whole season and greatly outperforms his previous years to the tune of 1269 yards on 259 carries. A huge jump like that in production in a contract year is a bad sign especially when he had career lows the previous year. Just when you think the Panthers might be getting smarter, they do the same stupid poo they've always done and vastly overpay a running back. They should have signed someone at or just above the vet min or even better, signed an undrafted rookie free agent. It's like is still in the building and never left. Sorry Basbear, my heart really isn't in it.
  10. What's the contract details? I'm ready to poo on this so @Basbear can go all
  11. Double Trouble Redux? And people thought Marty had left the building.
  12. Just wait until we see how much he gets paid. I'll withhold judgement until the details come out but sharpen your blade just in case.
  13. Neither one is official. They're not a mouthpiece employed by Tepper like a certain other former beat writer. You could have just posted the tweet. You didn't have to add it's official as if Newton's word had any actual weight with the team. Relax! I'm just busting your chops a little.
  14. That's not terrible even with the huge risk Richardson is as the top pick. I'd replace the RB with a guard or tackle. The Oline needs a lot of depth. I'd probably take a TE instead of Harrison as well.
  15. Yeah, Flutie isn't the hill to die on. I hope he has as good an overall career as Flutie (his NFL career wasn't anything to write home about) had just in the NFL unless he goes to a division rival. I was just pointing out that success can come in different flavors.
  16. I saw another Canadian hall of fame. It was a city or just generic sports hall of fame. As for being happy if the #1 pick also made the Canadian hall of fame? Just depends on if he did that before or after his time as a Panther. It's still a long and successful pro career as well as having a winning record as an NFL starter, 38-28, which is a better percentage than Cam Newton's record. Source Source There are a lot of other articles out there too, so it seems a lot of people think he was a successful QB and that includes in the NFL though his greatest success came in other leagues. Anyway, that's enough of Flutie. Here's to Ahlers 2023 in at 1
  17. Yes. He's in 3 different halls of fame, holds a few records, played a long time in the NFL, and has been considered one of the best QBs of his generation. I would say that is successful.
  18. Making millions playing a kid's game for over a decade is not successful?
