I just fuging hate how they're always banking on upside instead of just straight up production. That's a huge reason why our drafts have Been so shitty for years. Either Morgan or the scouts that are still there have had a big impact on this.

That's what I'm thinking. You could have easily gotten a good RB much later and same thing if you wanted a project LB. I personally wouldn't have traded jack poo, and went BPA. My dream senario was JPJ and Payton Wilson. Even Ig they were afraid of Wilson's medical R3 was a really good spot for another proven LB like Trotter or Cedric Gray or an edge like Trice or Ellis. Cedric Gray woulda been slam dunk pink at the top of R4 today if we picked a solid edge rusher like Trice or Ellis in R3

This is where I'm at. I'm not impressed with this for the sake of the trades or the players we got. The Legette pick makes sense but I didnt agree with a RB in R2 or a developmental LB in R3. I don't see how that's too different from a Hurney or Fitterer draft pick wise. And both of them also could hit on first rounders as well.

Luke McCafrey went way earlier than I expected. R3 to the commanders. They've had some very solid picks so far as well.

Steelers are having a very solid draft. They've got multiple players I had in mocks for the panthers

They said the knee has other stabilizers in it. Idk how or what those are though, maybe material that imitates the ligament has been screwed into it. Sounds like a ticking time bomb

Payton Wilson is straight up missing an ACL? Yeesh. No wonder he's dropping like a rock tonight.

Remember when we passed on that OG that went to the Cheifs, that balled out even tho he had heart issues or something. Trey Smith? At some point you gotta take some swings. Hell the rb we drafted just tore his fuging ACL last year.

Sounds like a 5th or 6th rounder. Way too many better players om the board. I'm starting to think Morgan was a big part of these past few drafts with some of these bizzare picks.

Who the hell.... Some major reaches with R2 and R3 picks. Don't like them at all. Project LB in the 3rd is not a good pick.

Wtf That's a stupid ass pick. Those reports that the panthers wanted a RB high were true. All the rumors and reports have been true so far. So you can expect Mike Sandstrill that tiny CB from Michigan with the 3rd rounder.

I would hate that. I'd rather get a CB in the mid rounds for depth and not spend a premium pick on one that isn't an elite prospect in R1 or R2. I really want Powers Johson or Frazier some kinda bad. I just find it ironic that the panthers would spend a shitton of money on two starting OGs and then take your oft injured RG from the last 2 seasons and jam him in at C and call it a day there. The panthers NEVER select any players I personally want in any draft since 2010 besides Cam. So I'm fully expecting them to go CB or Edge. I want Center R2 and TE or RB in R3

I wouldn't be suprised if Horn actually plays in all 17 games that means we have a .500 record or better. Kinda the same if the o line doesn't have any major injuries. The healthiest o line years we've had in the past has typically coincided with better seasons.

blegh. Just like last year, super telegraphed pick. Legette is way too similar to Mingo and TMJ in terms of body type/receiver type.

Panthers could easily trade up for any player this late in R1 if they really wanted someone.

CB is becoming a serious option for the panthers.

There is still an absolute treasure trove of talent on the board. All these QBs and OTs are pushing talent down the board.
