  1. When it comes to us, because we built this Brainiac of a coaching staff, I think we're looking at a QB who's more prototypical in playing style and putting all our eggs in the basket with CJ Stroud or Bryce Young. Yet for a team like the Falcons, I have no idea why they wouldn't be interested. With a tall receiver in Drake London and a talent like Kyle Pitts, adding Lamar Jackson would make them a nightmare for teams around the league. WIth that said, when it comes to the Ravens, I don't see what they would get out of teams not offering Lamar a robust contract. As it is, Lamar is not going to play on the tag they gave him. Wouldn't be surprised at all if he decided to sit out this year if stuck in Baltimore.
  2. I don't believe for one second that Bryce Young is viewed as the number 1 QB in this draft. Everybody in their momma know CJ Stroud is the top QB and will be the number one pick. That is why we have to move up to the Bears' pick to get him.
  3. Without LaMelo, the Hornets are officially the sorriest team in the league.
  4. That's it! We are going to have to sell our souls to move up to the top pick. The only QB worth it, is CJ Stroud in my opinion. I believe he will certainly be the number one pick. If another team moves up and draft Stroud, I believe we should stay put at 9 and draft Richardson or Bryce Young. (Not really a fan of Young due to size) If neither are there, go BPA. If Levis is there at 9, I wouldn't be oppose to drafting him, but at that point I would trade back. Overall, its Stroud at 1# or stay put.
  5. The only QB worth trading up for is Stroud in my opinion.
  6. CJ Stroud is already the greatest QB in NFL history to come out of Ohio State.
  7. All the other qbs are grunting in their movements, while Stroud is sleep walking through these drills.
  8. You can have all the arm strength in the world, but nothing beats fluidity. Stroud of course verified he is the top QB in this class.
  9. For those who wanted to trade for Justin Fields, Richardson ran a faster 40.
  10. I bet he's saying they will have to pay him to run again.
  11. Nolan Smith with the 4.44! Could be what we need as an OLB pass rusher.
  12. Do you not know the amount of companies this man own? Of course this conversation would get into the Tinderbox area, so I won't derail the thread. That said, if he gets his hands on an NFL team, you better believe he will try to lockdown the NFL market hand over fist. Get ready to watch Panthers games on Amazon every other Sunday.
  13. No one should want Bezos to be an NFL owner. There is enough monopolization in the US as is. He already had the rights this past season to feature Thursday night games. I imagine if he got a spot of ownership, he would desire to lock up more of the NFL inside his clutches. The self declared king of the NFL.
  14. Looks like Brian Burns is set to have a breakout year.
  15. As a free agent, he would demand interest from teams. Probably would be willing to give him 30+ million a year. I think if the Giants gave him the non-exclusive tag, it would be hard press for a team to give up two first round picks to get him. Ultimately if he can somehow wiggle himself free into free agency, I believe the Panthers should sign him.
  16. How many of you are taking Jones' contract demand at face value? He is clearly trying to get out of New York. The fall back is if he does stay, at least he is getting paid. He will likely get the tag, but there's a small chance New York may decide to move on from him.
  17. I just heard the report of Jones switching agents and allegedly asking for 45 million a year from the Giants. Now, I see a lot of people taking this at face value in that Jones is demanding this up front. Clearly nobody, and I would say including himself, values him at that much. That's insane. Instead, I believe this is simply his attempt to get out of New York. If he gives an outlandish demand, it might trick the Giants into just letting him go.
  18. Carr can explore right around Carolina.
  19. By the way, I liked it when the Pro-bowl was after the Superbowl. If done right, it was like a farewell to the season. The main problem is with football itself. The sport is too dangerous to play even in a casual way. And casual football sucks!
  20. This simulator is crazy. I was able to draft CJ Stroud, and pick up 3 1st round picks from other teams next year. That means we would have Stroud, and 4 1sts next year. Hold my beer Fitterer!!!
