  1. I not advocating for bringing Cam back, I'm just thinking about Geno fuging Smith making a career comeback and wondering what exactly happened to Cam's arm to be completely out the league? He still had decent running ability but his arm was the problem, just curious if we ever found out what happened to his shoulder? Could a full year off have improved it? He still hasn't retired so he obviously has his own thoughts on the matter. Just wondering if we could see Cam pop-up anywhere in 2023 after a year off?
  2. Would love to have him for 10 mill a year after he's cut. Any more than that can kick rocks.
  3. Giving a 29 yr old who is the best lb on our roster a two year contract is a marty hurney move now... wow
  4. That's 2 3rd round draft picks right there.
  5. Get a safety that can put Chinn back at LB and you kill two birds with one stone. That players needed goes down from 6 to 5. But I agree with your assessment of what's needed.
  6. Starts at 53:21 if vid doesn't take you to timestamp.
  7. we will have over $40 mill in cap space with the most basic of moves and still have over $80-$90 mill in cap space in 2024. That's enough to resign Bozeman, get a CB like Byron Murphy or Sean Murphy-Bunting or Chauncy Gardner-Johnson, a Safety like Donovan Wilson which allows us to put Chinn back at Linebacker and kill two birds with one stone, and a TE like Mike Gesicki or Dalton Shultz. We would still need an edge but I didn't see one that I loved in the list of free agents I saw outside of Marcus Davenport and I don't know about him anymore since he only got half a sack last season.
  8. I think the top 4 QB's are interchangeable if you give Richardson and Levis a redshirt year myself but who knows what Tepper and Fitt are thinking?
  9. Trade up to #3 with Arizona then trade up to #1 was the most plausible scenario I've seen. Ain't no way in hell can you get #1 when every other team bidding has a better pick than you.
  10. He probably had no idea what they were talking about, who tf would know that carolina changed their top in the league grass field with astroturf unless they followed the team every day?
  11. https://www.nbcsports.com/chicago/bears/warren-sapp-says-bears-are-trading-justin-fields-draft-bryce-young More than likely Sapp is talking out of his ass... but if not we instantly become favorites to land Fields right? #9 and 2 2nds gets it done right?
  12. This is the right take. Great cap in 2024 to manipulate 2023 and one QB away from a home playoff game or two.
  13. FWIW Carson Strong is out of the league because of his knee, not because of his talent or lack thereof.
  14. Where have I heard that before?? Oh yeah Meyers poo teammate we drafted
  15. He has 20 to 30 million reasons per year to not give a damn about those 2 first round picks.
  16. Ok even more terrible news... if the NFL is in fact teeing this up for an NFC opponent for each of the AFC clubs our chances skyrocket insanely to 40%... the Falcons can't be held to double jeopardy as if they are selected for one... they can't be selected for the other so that adds even more fuel to the fire.
  17. Ok so my math was way off, its 2/15 opponents not 2/8. I eliminated the Jags and Titans away games against each other as possibilities as well as the jags hosting the Chiefs since the Chiefs play in Germany. The final chances are 13.33% we are selected for one of the games. Now... if the NFL decides it has to be an AFC vs NFC game the chances obviously skyrocket but for right now its 13.33%
  18. Bruh I've been going to shitty Titan games after the panthers have been eliminated just so I can score some free tixs from my fiancés dad this year. I'm crushed if this happens.
  19. Turns out Jags are a contender as well. and they won't be playing titans and titans wont be playing them as that would just be silly so that eliminates an opponent from both. its actually a 25% chance if my math is correct (2/8 chances if both teams have a pool of 8 opponents to choose from, someone correct me if I'm wrong) that we have an away game in London next year. With the Chiefs, bills, and patriots also as potential opponents that are ineligable to play two games overseas that might even eliminate more... I'm about to do some more math...
  20. Titans just announced they are going to London next year for one of their home games, one of our games is in Tennessee next year. Would suck to have such a close away game moved but dem the apples.
  21. Just dawned on me that if the Panthers do trade for SP, and if they do trade up, we won't see another first round pick for what could be 3 years potentially, as when the 2023 NFL draft starts picks for the 2026 NFL Drafts unlock to be eligible to be traded.... if we've already traded for SP by the time the draft has started and we still want one of the top 5 picks we could still be without 2 or 3 first round picks for years... the possibility is real... but SP and CJ Stroud/Bryce Young would be absolutely electrifying.
  22. Holy poo I thought I stubbled on a bug and was like "holy poo they left this paid content unlocked" then realized I had espn+ thru verizon and completely forgot and didn't know it included articles.... would much rather have a free athletic sub
