  1. Terrible take, they purposely spent a lot of resources to address the guard position for an anomaly QB. They also targeted a WR that meshes well with Bryce's skillset of anticipation. They are going to fuging feast on curl, slants, and out routes together, mark my words. The addition of Johnson is more coherent than any addition we made in the 2022 offseason, which I absolutely hated, including the trade-up to #1 months before the draft. Morgan did the best he could do and honestly, has us in position to reset in 2025 if we need to and the cap space to make the necessary moves if it blows up with Bryce. We actually have assets if this thing blows up this time. Time will tell now if Bryce is worth a damn or not, especially if we can wrap this thing up with Mike Williams.
  2. I think edge moves to green, I still think its a priority but we can wait for a good match there now instead of feeling like we have to make a move. If we get Mike Williams and anything at TE we are set, assuming we pick up that Safety visiting.
  3. They better just be planning on doing his deal after rookies sign
  4. Don't tell me you're about to freak out about us releasing Vonn Bell and Bradley Bozeman in a couple hours.
  5. Na, he touched that too, mentioned Tepper didn't even invite him to the Super Bowl but Arthur Blank did....
  6. Odunze, Harrison, Brian Thomas, Nabers for our 2 2nd rounders?
  7. You're not going to go anywhere continually overpaying in FA for aging vets. It looks like they targeted fixing the interior OL and now we wait for mid-tier and low-tier FA's to fill in the rest of the roster. The best thing you can do in FA is pay a low price for a young commodity that outperforms what you paid them, a la Frankie Luvu when we signed him. You get 3 or 4 players like that and you're the Texans.
  8. Except Fitterer was peddling bullshit about "just needing to drop in a QB" that is very different from this year where everyone is saying "This year is just about getting football fundamentals right." completely different situation.
  9. We dont need to have the money until Wednesday @ 4pm. Look for a Moton extension/restructure, creates the most cap space the easiest at a premium position with an elite player and leader, only downside is his age.
  10. ??????????????????????????????????? His cut number was known, published, and available publicly since he signed his contract last year? WTF? Do fans just call for players to be released with no idea how their contract is constructed?
  11. GREAT JOB TEPPER YOU"RE RIGHT LETS CAST KEON OUT CUZ OF S2 I MEAN 40 TIME
  12. I mean, no one at this point should be surprised a woman from New Jersey with enough brains to golddig into $1 billion balls has more football knowledge than David Tepper. edit: could you imagine talking football with Tepper? He would be like "man Purdy is a hell of a QB!"
  13. Most fun out of nowhere ive had with a game since Halo 1 dropped on xbox. And the co-op experience is unmatched. Anyone else out there spreading democracy?
  14. He's worst than a dumb football fan, he's a dumb STEELERS football fan. Thats just as bad as a dumb Cowboys fan.
  15. That was Hurney's plan, this has been said numerous times, ive even heard it from a former scout. Hurney was veto'd.
  16. 30 mins on the topic of Derrick Brown needing to be extended by a (previously?) inept front office??! Count me so IN!
  17. Excuse me but wtf does 2025 cap hit have to do with 2024 cap hit?
  18. Yeah, if you're cap space financially illiterate it would look like a bad situation to be in.
  19. This forum of all places would be Drake Maye fuging city right now. No rhyme or reason. I posted this before even looking at any other comment and holy poo was I right.
  20. Capers was only 3 years older than Dave Canales when he took over as the Panthers HC.
  21. A really bad DE draft, we got: First round: Laiatu Latu, DE, UCLA, Jared Verse, DE, Florida State Late 1st, early 2nd round: Bralen Trice, DE, Washington 2nd Round: Adisa Isaac, DE, Penn State, Chop Robinson, OLB/DE, Penn State Late 2nd, Early 3rd: Jonah Eliss, DE, Utah 3rd Round: Mohamed Kamara, DE/OLB, Colorado State, Xavier Thomas, DE, Clemson That's 8 in the top 100. This draft is DEEP for CB, WR, QB, OT, and DT Its decent at LB, C, and G. It is extremely weak at DE, OLB, S, RB, TE.
  22. Yep, saw one mock where we traded back at 33 for 2nd round picks and thought that was great too. If there is a giant batch of WR's available (which almost every mock shows in R2) gamble and try and get two of them. Or get OL and WR.
  23. Rhule was on that stuff every press conference and no one ever said a thing.
  24. Bahahah when you lie on your audio engineer resume just to get a job lmao
