    Raleigh people have some inferiority complex regarding the Queen City. Like Raleigh thinks Charlotte is their rival. I can assure this is entirely one sided on their part.     I understand and accept the fact that people will look the other way for for sports stars when their skills and winning outweigh the stuff you don’t agree with. The emotional baggage and personal agenda Brees has won’t be swept under the rug any longer because his skills have diminished greatly. Not to mention the guy lied about having hair plugs.

    Charlotte is a bright, shiny, up and coming world class city. An emerging food scene, multiple professional sports teams, mutilple D1 college teams. A real melting pot of the south East. Tons of culture. also, next time your in town check out the white water center.

    Raleigh sucks. Durham sucks. It is what it is. I wish I was interested in hockey. I’ll tune in for some playoff hockey every now and then but for the most part it does nothing for me. I know the Canes are a good team and well run franchise, I just can’t get in to it.

    The hurricanes are a good team that compete for championships in a town that really has nothing else to do - The panthers are a terrible organization with no direction and no reason to be optimistic about the future and play in young city with ten thousand better things to do
