  1. I have 37.95% of my investments in vats of salt buried in the back yard, in case the end times hit.
  2. I like Lamar Jackson, but Purdy played a much better game against the Chiefs than Jackson did. Jackson made a couple of god awful throws. Of course, I guess you could say that those were "game changers" but not in a good way.
  3. Mahomes is the best. The SF defense held him to 19 points in regulation. Can't hardly beat that.
  4. Purdy had a great game. If you are using Mahomes as a comparison, then every other QB in the NFL is a game manager.
  5. Mahomes never lost in the Raiders stadium. You know the Raiders fans hate to hear that, assuming there are any Raiders fans left.
  6. Well, here we go. SF defense holds them to a fg, or its over.
  7. That was a really bad move by the receiver. Third and 6 now.
  8. The whole football move seems somewhat arbitrary, but it probably didn't make any difference since SF kicked the field goal.
  9. well, one, maybe two plays for the end zone, and then kick the fg for ot.
  10. I disagree, I don't mind a close hard fought defensive battle.
  11. Going to come down to which defense can make a few plays. Or who has the ball last. Btw, they stopped the clock for a player who injured his ring finger.
  12. Forty whiners blitzed, and Mahomes hit the receiver that would have been covered by the blitzer.
  13. Happens a lot in big games like this. Defense comes out and is fired up, but as the game rolls along, defense tires and the offense starts clicking. But right now, KC offense is being shut down outside of one big play. SF needs to make them pay for it and put more points on the board. And they just did.
  14. The Column the OP posted referenced an article came out in May. Which explains why it is a bit off.
  15. So you are telling me that the fact that Panthers fired some guy most of never thought about didn't "send ripples thru the league"? lol Unfortunately, this is what passes for news today. Hyperbole and getting clicks is more important than objective and analytical reporting.
  16. Speaking of exploits, this one is a big deal. Ivanti is a huge player when it comes to remote access/working from home. Researchers say attackers are mass-exploiting new Ivanti VPN flaw | TechCrunch
  17. Interesting that his fifth year option would be the cheapest of any of them, on the defensive side.
  18. You forgot, use a 6th round pick to get one of the best qb's ever.
  19. A cap guru's job supposedly is just to arrange contracts, normally they wouldn't have any input into selecting talent. Or at least they shouldn't. To me, the GM and the coach should say, here is who we want, figure out a way to sign him that doesn't break the bank. And I think Sulieman did that. If the rumors that he was somehow involved in actual player selection, then that would be the fault of the GM and Owner for allowing that to happen.
  20. If memory serves, every qb that played for Rhule played better after he got away from Rhule. Mayfield played better in LA and Tampa Darnold played better once Rhule was fired. PJ Walker played better after Rhule was fired. Even Bridgewater played a little better in Denver. More TD's, fewer interceptions anyway. Had Purdy played for Rhule, no one would be calling him a game manager, because no one other than us would know who he was.
