Every time they show coach K's wife Mickie she looks in shock or something. She may have had to take something after the game.

I just don't know if I could be any happier. So glad we won but it makes it so sweet to send K out with a loss

The business side says go with Willis because of the upside and if he doesn't show progress with this staff start over next year. If the new staff likes Willis let them develop him. The personal side don't do a kid that way with this staff. Don't draft him and him get screwed up by this group.

Jets could be a trade partner if Sauce isn't taken by 6. I could see them trade #10 and #38 to get him. Penning would still be there I think or if they are hell bent in getting a Qb Corral would still be there. Then at 38 take T Tyler Smith he has been moving up the board
-
It's going to be tricky to do that with more than 3 teams looking for Qbs. I agree trading down makes the most sense but if we want a particular one we better draft them at 6.
-
A crystal ball would be great to have and see who is going to be the one that comes from this group as the future Qb for some team.

It is unreal how he is not talked about. People / evaluators seem to forget what he lost as weapons and OL after 2020. It will be interesting to see how his handlers spin his Pro Day and present him
-
Amen to that. We are at such a crossroads with this regime that if they pick wrong they are gone for sure.

No prediction yet because of still looking at all of the top 5. Pickett is the thread but I'm having a hard time getting excited about him being the pick. I could get excited about Willis for what I saw at his Pro Day and his interviews. It will be interesting to see how he develops.

I'm really studying Pickett, Corral, snd Willis right now. Howell is the one I want to review after his Pro Day. Not that I am a scout or anything but what I'm finding is all 3 of these could work for us. Pickett is the most ready by all accounts but Corral played in the SEC so he has good experience against some tough competition. Willis is the most fun to watch and his upside is what coaching will do to bring all of his skills out. That's a problem that I have we us drafting him, do we have the coaches for him? The more I look the more we may need to look at Corral. His experience can't be overlooked.

I'm not thinking Darnold will be in the Qb room and I hope he is not mentoring. If Pickett is drafted I think he would start from day one but I would like a veteran presence to help. If it's Willis he needs a veteran who can mentor. He gives the most promise for something really special. I agree the fan base needs a major boost and I want whoever they draft to succeed. Do whatever it takes to give the rookie the best shot.

It's a given we will draft a Qb this year. We need someone to help develop him and I don't think we have anyone on staff that I trust. Certainly not Rhule. Who could we get as a veteran Qb. Not sure Gardner Minshew is the type. It really depends on who we draft to what kind of mentor we need. I'm really intrigued with the possibilities that Willis could bring and if it is him we need a veteran to start and give him some time to develop. We could use an extra coach / mentor for him on top of the veteran Qb. Someone like Josh McGowan just to work with day to day. If it's Pickett, we need a veteran Qb to help him to know how to prepare with film study, game day and adjust to the pro gane. I think Pickett would start day one. Just thinking and wanting to get myself prepared for a rookie Qb. What are your thoughts?

If we wait we probably can get Jimmy G at a reasonable price if 49ers need or want cap room. If I were them I would keep him another year. We could sign him and still look for a Qb this year or next.
-
I agree but a lot of the problem was the overall set up for the Pro Day by Corral's handlers. Didn't appear that they were all that ready for today which hurt Corral
-
Yes, camera angles are terrible
-
I think they maybe should have recruited some more receivers for today. These are struggling to run the routes
-
Doesn't seem to be moving along as fast in the number of throws that we saw from Pickett or Willis. Doesn't seem as organized. Not meant to be a knock on Corral at all.
-
I think the NFL Network is going to show it at 4 today.
-
Atlanta signed Mariota as a placeholder for whomever they draft to develop. If we like Pickett or Willis we are going to have to draft them at 6 because Atlanta will pick one of them.
-
I don't want to start a new thread or derail this one, but Eric Fisher should be looked at also. Fisher came back last year only 8 months after knee surgery and you would think he would be better next year.

On Sirius with Moving tge Chains they are saying the Panthers have pulled out. Have y'all heard that?
-
On the NFL Network they all named other teams other than the Panthers as the best place for Watson. The common denomnater is coaching. All other teams have better coaching staffs so, that's on Tepper
