    Not one of these guys will fix the problem. It gives u a reprieve from trying to draft a qb but it’s not fixing anything.

    How does Rosebust not get on the disappointment list? I get that Jackson<Horn but if we had a Mike Jackson caliber FA at LB and probably a couple other positions the team would be in much better shape. Not saying he's the second coming but there are a few positions that can be improved with the addition of good/not great players.

    I think both are in play but I would not characterize the Panthers as a “strong team”. I do think they are getting better. And while I don’t think Bryce is a long term answer, at the moment he seems to be making fewer costly mistakes as the season goes on. I think some of that (a lot?) is due to the defense and the run game.

    Agree with your post 99%. The only point I’ll make is I don’t care about sunk cost anymore. If we hadn’t traded a thing for him and gotten him in whatever round it doesn’t matter to me because 3 years in and he’s simply just not the guy. Just my .02

    We lost a big part of our receiving game in the short term but it exposes many warts and blemishes IMO. We weren't or should not have been building a passing game off a 35 year old player that was most likely retiring at the end of the season.

    I think most people in and out of media who are remotely following the team know the history with XL's parents and there is no excuse. Kind of what you expect from Newton but its still cringe.

    Damn. I should have stopped reading after your first post. I was quite impressed with the Defense for a full 90 seconds before being hit with reality

    History will agree with this statement and be inclusive of the 2023 draft. I want/wanted Bryce and any player wearing a panther jersey to succeed but it is not working out.

    I think similar in that the team that drafted him will trade him to another team and then he will retire with said team. I think the gazillion yards, stats, Super Bowl details and longevity will be different but from a 50,000 foot view, the arc looks similar, yes.

    Take away the two turnovers Bryce had and we also have a different story line. I do t think it works like that.

    I think Bryce did a good job of sticking to it and not having anymore costly mistakes. That said, he is a nice guy and a competitor but not the answer at QB IMO.

    This roster is already chock full of Shaduer’s sans family baggage. Then again, he would fit in perfectly.

    I remember the same but Mike was not a “franchise QB”. So I think it’s because my view of him is relative to expectation. The fact that BY has this comparable stat to Mike Glennon is pitiful.
