  1. Not saying Oher is good or the answer. Just seems like it's getting really biased.
  2. This web site is getting really Fox Newsish when it comes to Oher. I look and see other people on the line have been beat but listening to Igo and the rest of you it's apparent that only Oher has given up a sack.
  3. I know the thing I was worried about the least was the defense last year. Then the losing stretch happened and we couldn't stop anyone for a while.
  4. I know if he keeps playing well you won't be able to "hide" him on the practice squad.
  5. Love Collin Jones. I was wondering how that was going to play out, because he played very well in the slot at the end of the year. He made plays on the ball and tackled well. Good play recognition too. Wish he could play FS tbh.
  6. Norwell is not Amini. That a huge plus in my book already.
  7. Damn...thats like saying do you want to be burned alive or ate by gerbils.
  8. WTF!!!!!! You want Amini on the field???!!!!
  9. It matters what YOU tell your kid. Some of the people here bashing people for giving the trophies are the same ones that let their kids bring the trophies home. If you took that trophy and smashed it in the parking lot before you get in the car to go home, then my friend I respect your opinion on the matter. In my house, I allow participation trophies. However, only trophies with a place (1-3rd) or mvp or something like that gets a place on the mantle. The others get displayed in your room. I explain that the trophy they got is no different than a certificate. However the place trophies means something. My son is obsessed that his sister has a 2 first place trophies and he only has 1. It has drove him competitively and it also drives her to stay ahead of him. That being said I always congratulate them for competing and participating, but I also get on them about not giving 100%. Thats my main concern as a parent.. 100% effort and no quitting ever. People need to quit deferring parenting with all this blame the <insert >. If you have a problem with a "generation" or "everyone else" .. fix your kids first. Kids are their own people with different emotions, reactions etc. However if your child grows up soft, it wasn't because of a trophy. You as a parent, uncle, aunt, cousin etc.. let that poo happen.
  10. You mean when all time greats Beanie Wells and Kevin Smith were running up and down the field on us? When you could pencil Michael Turner for 130 + yards? Hmm.. let me think about it.....
  11. Man that's a tough decision. Gonna cut off one of your hands you choose. Hopefully some Gettlemagic and some timely negotiations will come into play. Pass rushing DT's are more valuable on the open market, but a NT that commands double teams to keep bodies off Kuechly and the LB's is imperative as well. Hopefully we can work something out to keep both.
  12. I wouldn't care of Silatolu had a 12 mill cap hit. He should not play for us anymore.
  13. With the anticipated Cap increases those are very palatable numbers.
  14. 6'5 Cam, 6'5 KB 6'5 Funch, 6'5 Hill, 6'5 Olsen... That has to be some kind of record where the QB and every receiver is 6'5.
  15. It will mean: He will be #27 on the top 100. They will start the clip by saying. ... he is alright but he isn't Andrew Luck. Someone will make a top 10 QB list and leave him off just to drive website hits. The people who hate him will hate him more. There will be endless articles about his TD and first down celebrations. Some report questioning his commitment will come out of the blue. Someone will say he has better pocket awareness and clearly ignore that it's probably the most stable pocket he has seen since his rookie year. Aaron Rodgers, Luck, Either of the Mannings, Drew Brees, Matt Ryan, Flacco, Roethlisburger, Kaep, Wilson, RG3, etc.. would have to have had a horrible year for Cam to win it over them.
  16. Pie Internet Magnitude Performance The PIMP chart. Make it so then pie me.
  17. Oline played better. Jeremy Shockey and Greg Olsen was a nasty combo.
  18. No one here thinks he soft, No one here thinks he is lazy.. Lots of people think he's injury prone. A great deal of people think he is overpaid. Most agree when healthy he is our best RB.
  19. If you don't think OBJ isn't one of the best young receivers in the game... yes even better than KB, then you are stucking fupid.
  20. For all the people who hated Charles Godfrey ......................
  21. There is nothing wrong with our team. I feel we have just as much chance as the Cowboys to make a deep playoff run. Matter of fact, if we could just beat the Seahwaks once. I think that would be the last "mental" hurdle we need. That being said, Dallas is still missing pieces as well, it's just that their Oline makes our Oline look like a poo poo platter. Front 4 ---- Carolina even with the Kraken in Dallas. Linebacker ---- Carolina > everyone else in the league Seconday ---- I'll say push, but I think ours is better O-line ---- Dallas > everyone else in the league TE ---- I'll say push but Olsen is better imo. WR--- Dallas (yes Dez Bryant is that bad of a man) RB --- Carolina (Stewart is better than McFadden if the Cowboys get AP however, behind that Oline...eeewww). QB --- Dallas (2014 Romo better than last year 2014 Cam. Flame all you want but it's the truth. I would take Cam over Romo however). Coaching --- Riverboat Ron > Jason Garrett > Ron Rivera. We don't have the organizational structure to attract big name FA's. We don't have the weather, the night life, the state sales tax that usually end up being the determining factor). It is what it is and will be for the foreseeable future.
  22. Jerry Jones is a business man and he took a wine/dine business man approach. Presentation is everything. Would have liked Collins but got to give credit where credit is due. Jerry Jones outworked everyone else and got the player he wanted.
  23. Ealy played fine imo. Going into his second year I expect more improvement especially once he adds a little more weight. Once the secondary situation got fixed it appeared the Dline played better. Godfrey and Cason being off the field helped immensely as well. I don't know how anyone can rest their hopes on Frank Alexander. He is a suspension waiting to happen. For the first time in forever, I'm not particularly worried about either line. I'm more worried about depth at this point than anything else.
