Have to set up some stunts.
-
Yeah, I got that, but how did he play is what I'm trying to determine. I was so high on the offense that I didnt pat attention to the D-line, except to notice that they weren't getting as much pressure as I'd like. I was thinking to myself that it was a good thing that we were playing Minshew who wanted to hold on to the ball too long.
-
I know Clowney got some pressures and a late sack. Does anyone know what PFF grades that Harris and Clowney got against the Raiders?
-
That's the dirty secret: drafting a franchise QB is more luck than skill. Tepper wanted to be first instead of second. Now we're the ones with the dud.
-
Why isn't he playing? We're going to have to get maximum pressure on Burrow to be most effective. Our corners held against Adams and Meyers, but Chase and Higgins are a different animal.

How Many Games Before Dalton Loses a Start?
TD alt replied to kungfoodude's topic in Carolina Panthers
I think that we can beat them. -
I'm concerned that he's not going to last. He needs to stop taking hits (at least the big ones). He thinks he's Cam out there.

How Many Games Before Dalton Loses a Start?

Regardless what Dalton does, it will look substantially better than anything Bryce puts out. If I have to look at Bryce play for the Panthers again... -
I wouldn't give up on Caleb Williams so easily. Sure, Jayden looks better after three games, but he's still a relatively slight guy, and doesn't necessarily have the off-script skill set that Williams displayed. I like Jayden a lot, though. Chicago always picks the "wrong" pick because the FO just ain't right (if you get what I'm saying).

Didn't know Raym played center. That's good to know.

I will say that it's easy to criticize when a team is coming off two horrible losses after a horrible season, but, to state the obvious, consistent piss-poor QB play brings the entire organization down. And, Bryce's piss-poor QB play was not just any ol' piss-poor QB play, it was historic piss-poor QB play. That being said, I think that Tepper is learning some much-needed lessons. He may not be changing as quickly as we'd like, and sometimes change is hardly even discernible, but he's changing.

And people believe that we overpaid...Ha! If you want quality, you're going to have to pay for it. Moreover, remember all the hand wringing over Corbett playing center (like he wasn't a professional lineman who had previous experience)? Sometimes you have to believe football guys actually know more than you...sometimes.

Best and worst PFF grades from Panthers' Week 3 win

That's an idea probably worth exploring. -
Best and worst PFF grades from Panthers' Week 3 win

Hopefully after last game. Plenty of talking heads continued last season's narrative about the O-line and receivers. -
Don't know why everyone is so surprised by Diontae. All he does is get open. Even Pittsburgh fans will tell you that. His downfall up in the Steel City was his attitude; basically he got tired of playing with bum QBs who couldn't get him the ball... The only other criticisms I saw were his hands (he'll leave a few on the field) and he sometimes has a tendency to drift backwards after those slant routes trying to get around the corner (more than you'd like). But, I'll take it. The thing for me is that I think that people mistook that dawg in Diontae for being a diva.

I've been saying it for years. He may not be the most prolific, but he's a legit NFL back.

Is it a message to the fans, as much as it is a message to the talking heads?

Is it to early to revisit the Corral vs Malik Willis debate?
TD alt replied to micnificent28's topic in Carolina Panthers
I mean, if anything, it teaches us that coaching and development can and does take time with most QBs. The not-so-secret truth is that where a prospective QB ends up, especially initially, can have a profound effect upon the trajectory of his career. -
Ochocinco offers an Apology to the Team and to Panthers Fans
TD alt replied to Butterflyj30's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yeah, my son listens to Shannon & Ochocinco regularly. I told him yesterday, "That the Panthers need an apology from a lot of people," and I specifically mentioned Ochocinco as well. He wasn't the only one talking sh¡t, but he was the only one to man up (at this point to my knowledge). Adam Thielen may not be what he once was, but he still has juice. Legette is going to be a load to handle once he gets the experience, and Diontae is legit (a local talking head called him a "route god."). Johnson knows how to consistently get open. Throw in Mingo and Tremble, and there's enough to move the chains. -
In Soviet Russia, Bryce young at halftime….

Yep, the disrespect. -
Mind you, I'm not a gambler, but I made a little change off X today.

If we wait until the off-season, we're not getting anything but a day three pick. The time to do it is before the trade deadline. Lord forbid that he has to come in and stink up the place again. We're fuged either way.
-
We need to trade Bryce NOW. His value is going nowhere but down the more games that we play.
