  1. Some will be good and even great. Most will not, regardless of where they are drafted. You really can't tell how good or bad a QB is until you've given them a chance to develop. I say i don't think Bryce will ever be a good one, but he hasn't had a good chance to develop so while it's unlikely he will ever be good until he has a chance to sit back and learn and be mentored we won't know 100%.
  2. QBs that could be good are never really given what they need or the time they need to develop. the unrealistic expectation is that they start day one. the reality is that very few, even among those who are taken early, can start day 1. we need a farm league. teams who draft QBs early should not be drafting QBs early if they expect the QB they draft to be able to start right away. Stroud succeeding early is not at all the norm. most QBs fail when asked to start day 1. that's the reality.
  3. NFL is pretty much far behind every other professional sports at developing key personnel.
  4. Been listening to a lot of Stevie Wonder lately. Guy is a musical and lyrical genius. Chorus always takes me by surprise on this one. Just doesn't seem like a natural direction to take, but it works and it sticks in your head. Very much an underappreciated talent especially from the 60s and 70s.
  5. Bryce sucks but if you're his teammate, you don't throw him under the bus like he did. You don't be an ass. You be a grown ass man about it. Diontae is living up to the rep he gained in Pittsburgh. He's kind of good, but he's an ass. He's a short termer with any team he goes to. Ravens are desperate for a good receiver, but they know he's an ass so they weren't going to offer much for that punk bitch.
  6. That's not how I read that. I read that as a "no comment". If he was perceived as a good teammate, they would have said it. They would have likely said it if he was only mildly annoying. Saying nothing.....that's the equivalent of "yes, that guy was a cancer. But we're not going to come out and say it."
  7. i'm on the BPA train this coming year. Don't really care who it is or what position they play. Most years i don't feel like this...but this year, yeah, absolutely. best player. and we'd actually be better off listening to the consensus mocks...which isn't bad right now. https://www.nflmockdraftdatabase.com/big-boards/2025/consensus-big-board-2025?pos=ALL just do BPA all through the draft. just get talent. more and more talent.
  8. we were looking for the next drew brees/russel wilson instead of just looking for a really good QB. we tried being clever instead of being smart.
  9. pretty much my thoughts when i saw that. i couldn't hate him more than i do. it just hurts that he can say it and it not be arguable.
  10. But it wasn't negative yardage...right? Oof
  11. You've got too much time on your hands. You might need a new hobby.
  12. I haven't been watching. Been at a cheerleading competition watching my daughter's squad all day. I don't regret it. And I hate cheerleading.
  13. Anyone else think that we won't see Diontae play for the Panthers again?
  14. We won't be drafting Sanders. That said, we'll probably try to under Tepper's orders and it will be a total clusterfug. I have little faith that we will draft the right guy, though. Has more to do with the Tepper's getting involved than anything. No matter what we do in the first, I'll have the same feelings of dread I do when Bryce walks on the field.
  15. Probably not wrong. Rhule wanted his college posse and nothing but a bunch of his type of spineless tools who would revere him like ted lasso.
  16. He doesn't really have the arm to keep up with a full season and he's just too big of a presence for a backup role. that said...i do miss him being our QB and i will forever hate the refs, broncos, and TJ Watt for the damage done to him.
