Again would Wilson be great if he didn't play for Seattle and have that cast around him.  I say he wouldn't be that great.

Manziel broke cams records and was the first to win the heisman as a freshman in history. Manziel hasn't had success?

 

Yes, Manziel had fabulous individual success. And so did Cam. 

 

However, Cam took a rather average pre-season Auburn team and willed them to an undefeated national championship. Johnny Football did/could not. 

 

That's the (big) difference/end result, made up by the various things we discussed (Cam's size, QB smarts, drive, leadership, etc.) vs Manziel's. 

 

Not saying Manziel's not great. He was a great college QB. However, compared to Cam, he seems like a "Mini Me" Wannabe facsimile of him.

For the record/What ever it's worth: I don't see Manziel as a good NFL QB either, unless he gets in the right situation, ala Russell Wilson, RG3's first year or Kaepernick, masking his deficiencies. 

 

However, he'd have to be disciplined enough to follow the game plan, and sturdy/smart enough not to get hurt. 

 

Full disclosure: I'm not a GM either.
