Bill Voth says no tackle in the first

you could argue it either way, but it didn't really enter into my mind when saying it.

I'm not saying that you shouldn't have a good LT - and the argument I'm about to put out might be a little extreme - but having a killer LT and nothing around it doesn't make a good line.  I'd rather have 5 good players than one great one there, where you have to work as a team and individual excellence doesn't help you as much.

Ideally you'd have two great tackles and a great center, and you'd find a way around the rest,  But if we had Bell at LT for a year and a better RT, I could see a value in that.

I know mobile QBs tend to take more sacks.

What's your read on Morgan Moses?

like him.  Seems fairly ideal for 28 which dooms the pick from happening. He's physically about all you could hope for at that level, not dominant and doesn't play up to his size when he's bigger, and that's a potential concern (weight fluctuation), but he's a good starter, at minimum, that has more versatility than most.  I think what might hurt him around here will end up whether the team thinks he's a good enough run blocker consistently.

    • 31st rushing D and 8 carries by Rico is coaching.  Rico is easily the best offensive weapon right now and it’s not really close.  *literally everyone knows Dalton is washed, horrible and shouldn’t even be a backup QB.   Drive 1? ZERO carries.  Coaching.  Drive 2 - Rico was playing great.   Did Canales lean into that or go for “balance”? Coaching. Drive 3 - ZERO carries.  Coaching  Drive 4 - 1 carry and opted for Jimmy Horn gadget rush (you can’t stick  with the Horn repetitive gadget runs each week and that’s not a better idea than getting Rico going)  Drive 5 - basically Dalton heavy as the half expired.  I don’t need to watch a game to know it’s coaching.  The gameplan wasn’t about setting Rico up to go off on a trash rush D.  It was bullshit harmony balance of the rush and the pass and making Hubbard feel good.
    • In the locker room after the Dallas game, multiple  players said FEED him when Canales mentioned Rico stats. That already made me think even the locker room wouldn't care if Rico got the touches rn. This is on Canales indeed and I agree n the Qb take.  We aren't winning  bc of Bryce  but he has been managing it. Had the Jets had Qb aptitude,  we could've probably  lost that game too. All they would've needed is 14 points. Regardless, we got a team  that's being built up and that position needs an overhaul.
    • I think he was trying to mimic the Lions with Montgomery and Gibbs. They are just more of the exception to the rule and Brooks was too much of a gamble to be a Gibbs type player. The Lions also didn’t sign Montgomery and draft Gibbs until their offense was nearly set. It was more of a luxury take the offense to the next level type of deal.
