Most Irreplaceable Defenders - Kuechly #2

No. Just don't use intelligent. You don't know someone is intelligent until you communicate with them for a prolong period of time. How the hell can you tell a guy standing on a grass field is intelligent? Kuechly is dumb!

And how exactly can you tell he's dumb when you've never met or communicated with him for a prolonged time?  You don't see how ignorant your blanket statement is?  I guess my doctor, who by all means seems extremely intelligent, is actually dumber than a potato because he trains in MMA during his free time.  Damn, guess I better switch doctors then.

Don't worry, I'm sure no one will ever mistake you for intelligent.  Anyone communicating with you for a prolonged period can tell rather quickly you're a fuging idiot.

I can assume he's based on his profession. Just hate people selling the intelligent nonsense when it comes to certain players. An athlete's job is to be athletic. That's it.

Stereotyping people according to external factors...

We refer to that as "prejudice".

That's what you're practicing, and defending.

I'm not practicing anything. Don't wanna hear that smart Kuechly nonsense. If his intelligence is emphasize that would imply the other 52 players aren't.

That's like saying that calling Cam Newton tall means you're implying everyone else is short

And yes, you're being prejudiced.

Nothing abstract about someone's height. Intelligence is very subjective.

And yet somehow you, by your own statement, can "assume he's not intelligent based on his profession". Which, by the way, also means you assume that Cam Newton and Kelvin Benjamin must not be intelligent either since they're in the same profession.

I could suggest to you that you might want to think before you type next time, but we both know that's not going to happen.

I accept them as athletes. I don't need to add an additional label to them to respect them. Emphasizing a specific player is intelligent would entail the rest aren't. That's what people around here has been doing. Don't make this about me. I don't care who is smart or not.

Using that logic, emphasizing that this statement is really dumb would imply that the rest aren't.

Unfortunately, they are

    • CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Carolina Panthers coach Dave Canales said Friday that starters will play in the first two preseason games, stopping just short of admitting he made a mistake last season holding them out. The plan includes playing quarterback Bryce Young, who got off to a historically bad start to the 2024 regular season that got him benched after opening 0-2. Carolina opens their preseason schedule Friday at home against Cleveland, followed by an August 15 road game at Houston and August 21 home game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.   Canales said he will evaluate after the first two games whether starters will play in the third game. "Kind of going through it last year, we had a mix of veteran players, but [this is] predominantly a pretty young team,'' said Canales, who has at least six new starters to the defense that was the worst in the league a year ago. "I just can't pass up the opportunities. The reps in games are valuable. "[But] it goes to the night before, when guys know they're going to go out there, they've got to make a decision to play football. So it starts the night before with the prep. You start thinking about your plan, taking care of your body, making sure you get your rest.''   https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/45880676/panthers-starters-play-first-2-preseason-games-says-coach
    • You call the Cowboys purely for information, but we don't have the assets to pull off any realistic trade. Also, even if they would consider any trade, it's more likely they want to do it with an AFC team.
