Recommended Posts

Coming In

- No 9: Noah Vonleh (From Detroit)

- No. 26: P.J. Hairston (From Miami)

- 2019 2nd Round Pick (From Miami)

- Cash Considerations (From Miami)

- Cash Considerations (From Oklahoma City)

- Alonzo Gee/Cap Space (From Cleveland/will be cut to save $3,250,000 in cap space)

Going Out

- No 24: Shabazz Napier (To Miami)

- No 45: Dwight Powell (To Cleveland)

- Brendan Haywood (To Cleveland)

- No. 55: Semaj Christon (To Oklahoma City)

The Hornets have just under $24 million in cap space right now. After signing Vonleh and Hairston we'll have about right around $20.5 mil in cap space with a roster of...

PG: Kemba Walker

SG: Gerald Henderson, P.J. Hairston, Gary Neal

SF: Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Jeff Taylor

PF: Noah Vonleh

C: Al Jefferson, Cody Zeller, Bismack Biyombo

Hope this helps.

Official Trades

@MiamiHEAT: HEAT have traded draft rights to P.J. Hairston, Semaj Christon, future 2nd & cash considerations to Cha. for draft rights to Shabazz Napier.

Everything is updated, all trades, roster and potential cap space wants rookies are signed.

So from the cap clearing moves it looks like we will give it a shot towards a superstar. Right? I guess we just could be clearing room for multiple veteran pickups. I just assume with cap clearing moves and the statements made by Jordan wanting a star that it leads to a possible Carmelo signing. Or atleast entertaining and trying our best at it

That's my best guess.

    • Well, hope they're not worried about a torn Labrum or Rotator Cuff, as someone who went through that myself, I know those don't have anything show up on X-Rays but from the MRI, so this is kinda a nothing update, hope it's not a tear or his season is already over if they decide to do surgery now. Which is basically what would be needed to get him to 100% for the start of next season's training camp if it's a labrum.  If he plays the season with it and then does surgery, he's not going to be ready for camp and probably not the start of the season either.
    • I always try to not pay much attention to a team’s preseason win/loss record. The 1982 Washington and 2021 LA Rams both lost every game in the preseason and went on to win the Super Bowl, whereas the 2008 Detroit Lions and 2017 Cleveland Browns both won every game in reason and went on to lose every regular season game. There’s many examples of teams that lose in preseason that go on to have good seasons, but equally there are teams that lose in preseason and that continues in the regular season. Which will we be?  I think our floor is a handful of wins, while our ceiling will probably be around the 9-10 win mark. The latter will require significant improvement from the whole team and coaching staff, and will also need Bryce to play like the QB we drafted him to be. I want to be optimistic and predict a winning season, but it’s really difficult as a Panthers fan!
    • Cos he looks much better?
