Hornets trying to acquire Hinrich

He's one of the best back-up's in the league. That is a deal that will benefit both parties and most likely that is what it will take. He was making $4 mil per last year and if it's his desire to go back to Chicago for the MLE, we'll have to overpay.

You don't have to tell me that. It's still too much unless Henderson's $6M is gone.

Whatever man...

Henderson's deal would run out before Hinrich's, so it's not that big of a deal.

WTF are you talking about? What is the IQ around this freaking place?

I DON'T CARE ABOUT THE DETAILS OF HENDERSON'S CONTRACT OR HINRICH'S! I AM NOT ARGUING OVER THE fuging DETAILS!

Henderson's $6M is more valuable than Henderson himself! And no, I don't want to pay Hinrich $6M unless they get rid of Henderson's $6M.

Henderson is the new Corey Higgins, but worse because he's making $6M. Can't get rid of this guy for nothing.

- If we acquire Hayward then we aren't going to be going after anyone in free agency next year anyway so we might as well overpay a smidge to get a quality backup in Hinrich.

- If we don't acquire Hayward then we'll have to at least reach the floor so we might as well overpay a smidge to get to the floor.

- With one year til Henderson's deal is expiring, overpaying for Hinrich is not a huge deal.

The only reason I ever wanted to get rid of Henderson was to make room for a better shooting guard but since we're not adding a pure shooting guard there is no reason to get rid of him.

Henderson's and Hinrich's contracts are not related.

Relax... My IQ is fine.

Your attitude however is out of control and you might want to take a break from the internet for a while.

People's inability to comprehend is ridiculous. It should've been clear to anyone that I was not arguing over how much Henderson makes versus Hinrich. It's all about Henderson being gone and freeing up his cap space to sign anyone. Hinrich, or anyone else. I don't care who. Even if you don't sign anyone, I still would rather have the $6M free.

    • Some of y'all got sucked back in last week.  I knew it was one of Bryce's 'flash in the pan' moments.  Like a 12 hour wall clock with a dead battery, it's going to be correct twice a day.  Well, Bryce is good for a solid performance about twice a season. Did anyone get offended when the commentators credited Fitzgerlad with the GW points in 3 games?  Like I said in another thread, if the FG kicker puts up the points to surpass the opponents score, they should get the credit for the win, not the QB that couldn't get the TD to seal the victory.
    • Yea he was flying around and want to believe he had 2 TFL.  For a guy playing his first game, great game given CMC and Kittle are middle field aces.  Bam had that LB look in eyes a few plays too, I was impressed with the plays he made as well.  Maybe LB group isn't the worse in the NFL....
    • I still say Tepper’s flaw is bad hires….but the rest of the bad after that is his hires. I still say Bryce is a Panther front office issue (Morgan and company) more than anything.  They are the folks that sold Tepper on Bryce.  The face at the time was Fitterer…..and Fitterer got fired for the collective mess that was 2023.  Mainly the Frank move who I think basically gave up practically.   I don’t think any coach has ever wanted Bryce.  Frank didn’t.  Tepper didn’t get in the way of Canales benching and moving on from Bryce a mere 2 games into the Canales era……but Morgan kept the deck so the Bryce comeback could happen and then sold this season off it.   I think Morgan peacocking about one random Bryce game speaks to the real folks dug in and wanting to be proven right on Bryce
