Watch out Phillies

Just a minor speedbump on the way to the NL East title.

The Marlins really needed that though. I was hoping for a Phils sweep which would have burried the Marlins. Impressive that they manned up and took care of business....I'll give the Fish credit.

We will see what the Phils do with the Braves this weekend. Could be really interesting after that if the Braves do to us what the Marlins did. For now I have no worries though.....

The bullpen scares me a little too much to make a serious run, but you never know in baseball. If a team can get hot (ala the f*ckin' Nats right now and Rockies a few years back) you never can tell. Chris Coghlan has been playing out of his mind lately. STAY HOT!!!

One thing about the Phils ......

Old Man Moyer needs to get out of the rotation.....he usually dominates the Marlins but yesterday shows that he has totally lost it. The writing is on the wall......thanks Jamie for all you have done but there is no difference between your fastball and changeup anymore. You are hurting the team now.

Be interesting to see if Pedro makes the road trip with the Phils....

they also need to figure something out with Lidge cause no way they repeat with him closing and pitching like he has all year.

    • The lack of discipline has seriously been our downfall the last month. Seems like we just went off course this last month and Lee won't address it. You can't just live and die by the 3 when you can attack the paint and at worst draw a foul
    • Great season regardless of what happens. From starting out 4-14 to ending 44-38 is incredible progress and future is bright from here. I do think we can beat the Heat and then win on the road against either Orlando or Philly assuming Embiid doesn’t miraculously return sooner. But if not, a higher draft pick is nice too
    • I know a DT that's asking for a trade: 🤔 maybe a home discount can be worked out. Dan Morgan could create up to $80 million in space through restructures of stars like Derrick Brown, Jaycee Horn, or Taylor Moton. They could also include players like Tershawn Wharton ($18.6M cap hit) in the trade to balance the salaries. Carolina Receives: DT  Dexter Lawrence II New York Receives: 2026 2nd Round Pick (No. 51 Overall): A premium Day 2 selection that fits the for  Lawrence  after his 0.5-sack season in 2025. WR  Xavier Legette : A young, high-upside receiver who provides the playmaking depth HC John Harbaugh needs for his offense. 2026 4th Round Pick: Immediate mid-round value. 2027 4th Round Pick (via MIN): Future capital acquired in the  Adam Thielen  trade.  ----- Stone Forsythe* (another young player as a potential trade option)provides immediate offensive line retooling for HC John Harbaugh.    John Harbaugh's history in Baltimore proves he values draft volume over individual superstars.    Just my 2cents
