Currently on Chris Kroeger's twitter he asked what professional sports team everyone would want most between MLS, MLB and NHL.  MLS is winning by a mile and it's not even close, very interesting stuff.

After getting absolutely robbed by some horrible calls and a shitty field on a fuging baseball diamond last week we have a tough game tonight against the league leading Rhinos.... gonna be tough but we need at least a result to keep playoff hopes alive imo

To help strengthen the playoff push the Independence signed Michael Bustamante a midfielder from the NY Red Bulls.  Bustamante was a top 15 pick in the 2013 MLS superdraft and has battles injuries ever since he's been with the Red Bulls.  

Independence manager Mike Jeffries said: “It’s a nice addition for us at this point in the season.  For him, it’s kind of working back into fitness from time off from injury, so it’s a work in progress a little bit in terms of him getting on the field with our group. But it certainly gives us another guy that’s a really good two-way soccer player, in terms of his mentality on both sides of the ball.”

Independence have a huge home game against the league leading Rochester Rhinos tomorrow.  Independence need every point possible to make the playoffs at this point and tomorrow won't be easy.  I won't be able to be there as I leave on vacation, but some of you guys should consider going out and supporting our local club.  Attendance has been really disappointing so far this year.  I'm glad I was able to make it to 5 games while I was home this summer.

Get in three huge points last night with a 4-2 win. Best our attack has looked all year against the best defense in the league and the Militia was rocking.

Actually a really exciting seasons end coming up.... we had a killer loss Saturday but still currently have a spot.  We currently have the fifth spot and there are 6.  Harrisburg City and Pittsburgh are right behind us and have a game in hand.  Charlotte will most likely need some type of result Saturday in Charleston to make the playoffs.  Gonna be an exciting week in the USL

so the regular season ends tonight.  nothing is settled.  we could either end tonight with a HOME playoff game, or we might not make it at all.  this is a crazy crazy game.  best advice:  just win baby.
