Deion: 49er players want Harbaugh gone

Actually, Deion is far from the only person saying it.

Stories have been going around about discord within the 49er organization for a long time now.  Sanders is just the latest to talk about it.

Speculation about Harbaugh to Michigan next year is definitely hot right now.

Harbaugh needs to come work for the Panthers but it's clear the fans of this team won't like him because he's very driven and discipled. Something that is not part of this team.

Counterpoint: Pete Carroll has a Super Bowl and probably another one on the way in the not-so-distant future.

The drill sargeant style of coaching from the Singletarys, Schianos, and Jim Harbaughs is antiquated and doesn't work in pro sports and management in general in 2014. There has to be a happy medium between discipline and letting the players be themselves.

It's actually not so bad for turning around a program, you just can't sustain it.

So I am not all that familiar with what Deion is stating but I think I get the jist of it.

My question is this....what is the difference between the NFL network releasing this when Sapp said he heard Shockey was the snitch in Bountygate and what Deion is saying about Harbaugh and the 49ers right now?

“We have discussed it with Warren and stressed that he is an analyst and not a reporter for NFL Network,” Quenzel said. “In the future, if he comes across something he thinks is news he will let his producers know and before it is reported or Tweeted, that content will be subject to the same verification procedure that our reporters follow.”

Isn't Deion an analyst and not a reporter?

Someone else brought that up (PFT maybe).  It's a valid question.

Answer probably lies in the fact that this story doesn't involve the commissioner.

    • I wouldn’t be surprised if the Pats win it all or at least get there. Maye is awesome.
    • Young quarterbacks Drake Maye, Bo Nix, and Bryce Young have led their teams to undefeated records since October.   Drake Maye has guided the New England Patriots to a 5-0 record in that period, with 2,285 passing yards and 17 touchdowns in nine games. Bo Nix has directed the Denver Broncos to a 5-0 stretch, throwing for 1,976 yards and 17 touchdowns, contributing to a 7-2 overall start. Bryce Young, in his second season, has led the Carolina Panthers to a 4-0 run since October, accumulating 1,390 yards and 11 touchdowns amid a 4-4 record.   Undefeated QBs since start of October (min. 4 starts)   Drake Maye 5-0 Bo Nix 5-0 Bryce Young 4-0   Bryce Young when asked about his mindset during game winning drives: "You don’t rise to the occasion you fall back to the level of your training."
    • 1. Cowboys-No explanation needed. 2. Rest of NFC South equally. If I had to pick I would say Falcons.    3. Eagles- Both of the games I have attended there the fans were so horrible. The fan base is so ridiculously misbehaved, I’ve never seen such immaturity. 4- Lions- I have cousins in Michigan that grew up Lions fans and they are some of the most obnoxious people I have ever met, as are all of their Lions buddies. The NFL has been lucky that Detroit has been in the cellar for its eternity.    5. Tie between Bears and Vikings. Both act like Steelers, Cowboys, Niners fans do with nostalgia and legendary seasons but neither have ever really had them. They act like they each won 5 super bowls in previous decades but never accomplished poo outside of Chicago in 85.
