Royals vs A's 7-7 extra innings, turn the game on

I disagree. Everybody was saying the Angels was going to roll us because they were the best team in the AL. Didn't work out that way. Then it was Baltimore that was going to roll us because of their power on their line-up. No dice.

Anyone can use the argument that they have no experience in the situation, but really, it didn't show at all during the ALDS and the ALCS. It might had actually accelerated the Royals experience when they were playing against Oakland, and, I have no idea how to explain it, but something clicked when they went on a improbable comeback against Oakland.

Sight unseen (I have not looked up their team stats yet), if someone wants to tell me that the Giants have the edge in starting pitching and offense, I'd probably agree that its likely.

But, you have got to give the bullpen, speed, and the defense to the Royals before the analysis even begins. That was very much evident during the ALDS and the ALCS.

Not to mention, KC went 15-5 against the NL during the interleague play.

Either way, let the best team win.

KC beat Oakland, Anaheim, & Baltimore; 3 teams that haven't done squat in decades. Yeah, they went 8-0 but people seem to be overplaying that. It isn't like SF struggled, they went 8-2 this postseason. SF is going for their 3rd WS title in 5 years.

Madison Bumgarner is the difference in this series. He's the best player in the series & has been lights out this postseason. And in the WS he's 2-0 & has thrown 15 innings without giving up a single run in '10 & '12. He's likely gonna win 2 games, & at the worst split 1-1. All these KC fans saying Royals in 4 or 5 are crazy.

It's gonna be a rude awakening when Bumgarner walks into KC on Tuesday night & tears through the Royals. More likely than KC winning the WS in 4/5 is Bumgarner shutting them out in game 1 & KC crumbling.

This is crazy how 99% of people think a terrible hitting team that lucked into the WS with a terrible manager is gonna wipe out the juggernaut Giants & their dominate pitching.

This will be one where I can be happy either way.  Like both teams.  Again, underdog vs Bumgarner.  Hard not to pull for a guy who grew up 15 miles away from you.  Hard not to like a small town market with small payroll beating Angles who bought their team.

I think this had the potential to be a great series. The Giants sites have the advantage of experience, having been there and won recently. They also have Bumgarner of course.

That being said, Shields is good enough to steal at least one from him, or at least pitch will enough to get the game to the bullpen where KC has the advantage. Davis-Holland has been the best bullpen duo in the game this season and their other guys like Herrera are damn good as well. KC also has the speed to manufacture runs, which is always important this time of year.

It would be foolish for anybody to think either team is a shoo-in to win this, both are built to compete in October.
