Bryce Young - worst drafted qb over three seasons in the modern era 

Jonathan Mingo - bust. 1 catch in 2025. Trade to Dallas was so bad it’d count as elder abuse in certain states   

Chandler Zavala - still on the team at least. 

Jammie Robinson - Currently secondary depth on a team Bryce threw for over 400 yards against. 

point being that the “experts” graded the panthers draft in 2023 as generally a B+ ish, but looking back it was one of the worst in team history.

Don’t get caught up in evaluating, ranking, draft boards etc. time is the only thing that can judge a draft.

Oh dam, u right, here I was thinking that a draft grade was a guaranteed correlation with performance. Good thing you here to enlighten us. Ok everybody stop talking about the draft now we gotta wait a few years.

Yeah, but if you were a doubter on Bryce, that ultimate grade was predictable. I was a lot less skeptical than some at the time, but I would have taken CJ and didn't think Bryce was a sure fire hit. Tbh I probably would have given it a B or B- at the time, but the fact it turned out bad is not surprising. Basically a high risk QB underperformed, not shocking.

That whole draft grade is based on Bryce.  If he hits it's an A, if he sucks its an F.  So its an F or at best Incomplete at this point

I still seen way too many times when he gets to the end of his drop and looks like a deer in headlights. The dude has no idea what he is seeing (or can't see) and is scared to death of just letting it rip.

But if you see improvement.....

he averaged 175 yards a game the last 6 games last year in a playoff race, thats better?  He went over 200 yards 4 times in 16 games, thats better?  I mean I guess its all relative but fug this narrative drives me nuts.
