Who will you have your eye on mostly during the game ?

Keep in mind starters won't be out for a long time at all.

Me.

1) Sherrod Martin. VERY little has come out of camp about this kid, he was drafted 2nd by the Panthers so obviously he was highly thought of by the Front Office. Yet I feel like I should put his face on a milk carton thus far in camp.

2) Mecedes Babuxuexburs *how the fug ever you spell it*. 2nd year for this kid. Won strongman/badass competition. He is our heir to that highly valued lg/c/rg backup that the Hangman held down so well. Gmen have decent depth at DT so should have some good matchups for him to show off with.

3) Goodson - Hype or for serious ? Nuff said Show us something kid.

1) Delhomme-Ready to take a look at his first snaps of the 2009 season and i hope they're better than his last 34.

2) Dwayne Jarrett-If he starts, which, most likely he will, I wonder how much he's progressed. Can he get separation? Can he get open? Will he run the right route and not miscommunicate with the QB because he hasn't digested the playbook?

3) Captain Munnerlyn-Is this kid as good as they say he is in camp?

After lobbying for weeks for us to draft Duke Robinson I'm interested to see how holds up against that Giants DLine. C'mon man, make me look good here. :D

I would give you 2 more Kurb, but you're still using the 2006 version. Get with the program man, that poo is outdated.

    • I think it's short sighted to judge a QB or HC in a vacuum. They both need good players to be successful. That's the GM's role. And he's young in his role too. His general experience in the league gives him a bit of an advantage/perspective that everyone doesn't have. But he still has to perfect his role as a GM.  But whether they're good or not, they are young in their roles. That is the point I was making. Could they be better at what they do? Of course. But it's hard to have early success when you have so many major areas still figuring out how to do their jobs at the same time. Asking a QB to pass for 4000 yards when neither of his 2 best WRs have played a full season is a tall task. Asking a HC to be an effective HC while he's calling plays when he's only done it for 3 years, and he has a young roster is a tall ask. Especially with a roster with so many holes and lack of talent. But that young label is definitely coming to its end. It's about time to start showing major improvements on offense, defense and coaching. Dan has had 3 drafts/offseasons to improve the roster. Dave has had 2 training camps. Bryce has had 3 seasons, though that first season was a pretty tough situation for anyone to learn, let alone have success. The QB is on the hotseat. Mostly because it's pay up or shut up time. He's ran out of time. Doesn't matter if he has reasons or not.  Not getting into the other stuff. Too many layers to pull back.
