Rivera's contract was just extended last year

I'm all for firing Rivera and thought his extension this off season was a huge, unneeded mistake after one surprisingly successful year.

However Richardson likes his money and doesn't give a fug about the product on the filed as he demonstrated in 2010 when he gutted the roster as he was going to outsmart the NFL because he believed a strike was imminent and he also left a lame duck unmotivated John Fox in control.

We were left with a 2-14 product on the field.

Nothing has changed in the some time dollars over winning philosophy exercised just 4 years ago.

I see Ron here for at least another year, even if the team stinks it up the last 8. Jerry seems to be the kind of guy who likes giving people chances, even if they don't deserve them.

Seriously doubt Rivera is going anywhere 1 year after a COTY award. Not saying I think he is the best we could do, because I don't. But I just can't see JR pulling the plug.

If only there was a Shula adjustment to a better OC..NOT a fire Dan Henning only to hire a guy who was worse.

Rivera does need to hold some Shula feet to the fire.
