He's a great 3 point shooter and all but that's all he does. Wack rebounding numbers and assists. I would take lance at 4 years 70 mill way before I took Klay. And the reality is we got lance for 3yr/27 mill which makes it a steal.

Comparing apple to orange tho. Both different players. They're good at what they do.

Lance without the antics would've got a much bigger deal. We got lucky bc he wanted to blow in LBJ's ear.

THIS!!!

There is a chance that someone would have offered Lance a max if he wouldn't have gotten ape poo crazy last year.

However, I'm a fan of his antics and I think he brings some swagger to the team.

I really like the foundation we have as a team right now.

- Kemba and Pargo are staples of the back court and I think Pargo's experience is underrated. Kemba even credited Pargo with calming his nerves. I like Roberts but I'm not quite sold on him yet, time will tell.

- Lance, Neal, and Hairston is solid depth at the two guard spot and when Neal is on he's a threat.

- MKG and Henderson make for a solid one-two punch at the small forward position. When Henderson gets more time in the gym (coming off injury), I think he could be a valuable bench player (his contract though...)

- Williams, Zeller, and Vonleh is legit depth at the power forward position. Zeller is miles ahead of where he was last year and in two years people are going to see why Vonleh was so highly touted.

- Here's our main problem, outside of Al we have no center. Maxiell is a solid player but at the end of the day he's a 3C and Biz is what he is, a defensive specialist.

Realistically we

- re-up Neal next year or sign someone and give Hairston one more year to grow.

- draft a small forward to replace Jeff Taylor

- and sign a legit back up center

What's awesome is that this teams core (Walker, Pargo Stephenson, Hairston, MKG, Zeller, Vonleh, and Al) is built for the long haul and Cho has done a good job of getting us out of cap hell and keeping us from going back. Not to mention every signing and trade Cho has made has been on point.

I seriously believe that the Hornets could be hosting the Larry O'Brien in the next 3-5 years.

    • I really appreciate Bill explaining his methodology here because that gives interested parties a chance to try and recreate the results themselves. I believe that it's safe to assume that despite emphasis being placed on WRs that Chuba Hubbard is one of the Panthers' top-5 weapons. Considering targets, yardage, receptions, etc... Adam Thielen and Xavier Legette are also on the list. Jalen Coker's success might have snuck him in there as well. I can't draw a conclusion on who #5 is though. I've narrowed it down to Diontae Johnson, David Moore, Ja'Tavion Sanders, and possibly Rico Dowdle if they're taking into account his production for the Cowboys in 2024.
    • Unfortunately business is business especially when there are large sums of money on the table. Goes the same for player and ownership. Does not make it right either way.  Why would he not want to play for the niners? Closer to home with a team that has a chance of delivering a SB trophy.
    • I don’t know if it’s him bad mouthing his former situation in public or my pettiness but either way I’m not a fan. Dude was on playoff teams getting paid millions to entertain. I’m not better that because and I am better than that. You don’t bad mouth your former employer in public. Esp after getting over paid and two, poor little Russian baby didn’t get the playing spot he wanted. Rod had him exactly where is was supposed to be.  He had a mean lip check and did defend our players. Specifically the devils game around Christmas where is our Haula on his ass. Cool. Thank you. But don’t talk poo about us. Because it make you look like Haula.    “need to get as far away as possible”. fug off. Didn’t see Burnsy bad mouthing and his play dropped off too.    sorry, but Orlov doesn’t get a pass from me. See you twice a year…
