Didn't you know, Johnny Manzel sucks. There's no way he (Manzel) could figure it out, or get knocked out of the game and Brian Hoyer come in and light us up. The way things are right now is the only way they will be for the entire game, so we have no reason to be urgent. NONE. ZERO.

Game was much closer than it would've been had they come out with the sense of urgency they showed after they fell behind. I despise the way this team approaches its job.

You have been wrong about SOOOOOO much.  5 or 6 weeks ago you were the biggest baby on here.

 

I haven't been wrong about anything. What have I been wrong about?

 

Five or six weeks ago I said I'd rather lose out an get a high draft pick to grab the #1 LT. That was an opinion, not a right or "wrong" answer.

 

I didn't change my mind about losing out until they 1) won in NO and ruined that LT possibility and 2) Cam had the car accident reminding me that tomorrow and definitely "next season" isn't promised, so if they are going to win games, they might as well win enough of them to make the Playoffs.

 

Rivera still sucks at his job because he doesn't "coach" until he feels like his job is on the line.

 

What have I been wrong about?

      I never thought a second look was even necessary. I was begging the football gods not to have us trade up to the 1st pick. And damn once we did it was a thoroughbred vs a little pony.    If you have a perceived generational player in the pool and you have the 1st pick, you just don’t trade it. In the first place. But all this Bryce drama - which (understandably) takes over almost any thread, just like this one - would never have happened if the team was not sold to Tepper.

      I agree. I understand why he did though. And surely he had his parents in his ear who have always gone out of their way to make sure he always had the best and the least amount of adversity around him to that point in his life advising him to do so. Where I take the most issue with it is when people who just want to be sycophants start listing off other QB's who didn't throw at the combine and you don't even make it through half the names before your eyes roll right into the back of your head realizing every single of those QB's who didn't throw already clearly showcased the necessary prerequisite physical talents needed for the position.
