If Cam threw 4 interceptions in a game...

I always like to have meaning behind my numbers so go with

9 - for the number of the guy holding your franchise back

10- for the number of losses Saints will have next year

'17 - for the year you will finally be out of cap hell

1 - for the amount of paper bags you will need to wear at home games

4 - for the place you will finish in the NFCS next season

Moneyball - 3 for the number of the QB jersey all the Saints bandwagon fans will buy for as they leave and join the 12th man

So try 9-10-17-1-4 3

You lost all credibility at Brees holding the franchise back.

I'll now divert my attention to a more deserving poster.

I don't take pride in promoting anything. The Lombardi was 5 years ago. I didn't bring it up. I was responding to him calling it a fluke.

You don't have a ring. You've got some pretty fancy shirts though. So you've got that going for you.

Classic denial....I expected as much. I'm waiting on you to tell me that you're glad you lost because you wanted a lower draft pick. That seem to be a common saints theme but you guys might have more success if you let a chimp chose your draft picks. Selecting earlier isn't going to matter much based off your draft history. Your holding on to hope in a hopeless situation. You're in cap hell, your team is in decline, and your team has no identity. What are the Saints good at right now? The answer is nothing. The window is closed....just because you can still look out the glass doesn't mean it's open.

Not happy we lost.

We have sucked at drafting. I'm hoping that improves now that the head scout has left. Has to improve. It's been dreadful.

Nothing is correct. Hence the reason they had a losing record last year. I thought that was pretty self explanatory.

Again, the Saints sucked last year. Another bad year, I'll have to agree that things are over. Not sold on it yet though, although I can see why some might be.

    • I honestly can’t believe this team’s turnaround this season. It’s surreal. Figured healthy we’d be fringe playoffs and with another lottery pick could finally turn the corner, but we don’t even need that. This group is ready. We haven’t played remotely well the last 5 games and yet still blew out 5 bad teams by 16+ each game like it was casual practice. We had a few solid teams with Kemba and Big Al but this is easily our best group since the original Hornets moved to NO. Man, what a shift in culture this new ownership group and front office has brought. So damn happy to see it after years of suffering and consistently meaningless games in this stretch of previous seasons.   Only 2.5 games out of the 6 seed, although Miami, Atlanta and Orlando have been playing well too. Gonna be a fun final stretch, hopefully we can get a top 8 seed at the very least. Celtics tomorrow will be a good test. Would be huge to keep the road winning streak up against a very hot top team on the 2nd half of a back to back. We’ve played Boston pretty well the last few years with much of this same group despite sucking so I do feel pretty good about it. Kon is due for a huge game coming off a few cold shooting games (although despite the poor shooting he’s been contributing well with defense, assists and rebounds).
    • It amazes me how underrated Horn has become after he finally was able to stay on the field. Sure last year wasn’t perfect but he was still a huge reason for our rebound defensively and I’d say he’s easily a top 10 corner. You don’t want to see Mike Jackson as our top corner. Any player is available for the right price but I’d be extremely hesitant to move Horn even for a big haul from LA.
