Dean Marlowe - a UDFA who is under the radar?

10 DBs aren't out of the question, fairly certain we did it Gettleman's first year but with 6 CB and 4 S.

Worth noting that Marlowe and Miley got sizeable signing bonuses for UDFA ($15,000), equal to what we gave Philly and more than Norwell  ($12,000). So they were obviously high on those guys.

Could be.

But, based on playing time, I think Teddy Williams maybe will beat out White or Heath for the 4th CB spot.  He's played more total snaps (D & Spec Teams).   Order would go Norman, Bene, Tillman, T. Willliams, Heath, with White being knocked out.  Both Williams & Heath played Spec teams Friday night.  White did not.  Fierce competition for that last spot among the CBs, I think.

If playing time is an indicator, Miley's on the cut list.  He and Cox had virtually no playing time on Friday.  Cox 7 snaps on Defense; Miley 4 snaps, neither played special teams.  Miller had 19 Defensive snaps and 1 ST snap.

Yeah I posted those snap counts earlier. I think they really liked Miley, he's just fallen behind in the rotation. Marlowe, however, is still getting snaps.

I bet he makes the practice squad unless another team picks him up

It's insane that event the competition for our Practice Squad this year is going to be really stiff.  We could easily fill two Practice Squads with very talented players.  A nice problem to have.
