Harper and Tillman are going to have trouble against quick hitting offenses like the Saints were doing.   It's just going to happen.  Everyone knows it and it probably won't be the last time we see it this season.

Looks like we just re-signed Safety Marcus Ball to the practice squad (to fill the spot vacated by Bersin).

Good to be able to bring him back. Ron Rivera said cutting him at end of preseason was one of team's toughest calls.

The #Panthers have signed S Marcus Ball to fill the final spot on the practice squad. Ball was with the team through the 2015 preseason.

Seems like a good move to me.  Rather have him on the PS than Brandon Williams.

Harper did wiff some textbook tackles. He recovered the fumble caused by TD. 

 

Tre was enigmatic to me. Didn't really notice him... but when it comes to safety play that is a good thing.

The reason they were throwing to Tillman is because of the 10 yard cushion we give receivers. But even then, Tillman was right with his man. The Saints just had the right game plan and for whatever reason Rivera and McDermott never adjusted.

I wonder if we're thinking about cutting Harper and promoting Ball. This is something I thought should've happened before the season anyway.
