Article comparing Panthers D to the 2013 Seahawks

The only difference between our defense and Seattle's is they have won a super bowl. If we win the media will then talk about us like they have talked about Seattle the past 3 years. We have the same, if not more, star power on our defense. It's just how things work. Imagine the articles that could be written about Luke, Davis, Norman, Star, Short, etc. if the first sentence begins with "a part of the Super Bowl winning Carolina defense".

    • Yeah the bench last night was awesome.  There was times we had all three rookies on the court and you have to love that.  Kaulk is getting better and learning how to use his size.  Sion had a game.  Grant and Green have been so great coming in.  I really like this team.  The only player that gives me pause is when we have Tre Mann out there but should be limited if Colby can keep playing. And Moose is such a fan favorite.  Dude plays so hard.  Obviously Miller/Kon/Melo are our scorers but I feel Moose is the heart of the team and gets everyone fired up.  The hive looked rocking last night too.
    • I get this sentiment but a smaller tackle would be prone to get beat by bull/power rushers.  He played with a torn labrum all season and had zero pressures allowed against a very good Georgia pass rush.  I think all the LT prospects have issues. I am starting to like Freeling at 19 if he is there.
    • Best case for Ickey right now might be to take over at a Guard spot anyway, or come back as the 6th offensive lineman. I love Ickey and hope he comes back strong, but the odds aren't in his favor at all. Signing him to anything right now is how bad teams stay bad.
