16 Straight Regular Season Wins

Yesterday marked our 16th regular season win in a row.

 

This puts us in 5th place all time, tied with the the '04 - '05 Steelers, the '83 - '84 Dolphins, the '71 - '73 Dolphins, and the '41 - '42 Bears.

 

A win next week will tie us with the '33 - '34 Bears. Eighteen wins puts us up there with the '03 - '04 Patriots.

 

The record sits at 23 straight wins for the '08 - '09 Colts, followed by 21 for the '06 - '08 Patriots.

 

Obviously, we're quite far away from breaking that record, but as a guy who loves historical statistics, I figured I'd share this with yall.

Fun NFL Trivia:

The '33 - '34 Bears were an actual team of wild black bears. The NFL was trying out it's new "Animal Rush" on Thursday nights.

For real though, my Grandma talked about getting a few nuts and some fruit in an old shoe box.  The 6 kids combined got one homemade doll to share and they all thought it was the best Christmas ever.

I think I read that we have the NFC record for most consecutive regular season wins.

All the teams ahead of us are AFC.
