So it seems CAP will be the man until Stewart gets back

What game were some of you watching? I second whoever said some of you have unrealistic expectations.

The kid did fine for his first significant playing time all season. He reminded of Stew a lot. See nothing there, but then he falls forward for 2-4 yards. Our running game had no real gaps to run through. CAP was trying to get us going by bouncing it. And often, when he did, he would get a couple yards at least. I didn't see a run where I saw him bounce and take less of a gain than he would have had just running into a pile up the middle. I'll take that all day from a young runner.

CAP will get better with time. The guy just needs time and carries. I think he can be a bit explosive if he has the holes to run through. Teams are going to have to stop blitzing Cam so much eventually, because he is eating teams up with check downs this season. When that happens, natural running lanes open and there is less congestion at the line, which will give CAP space to work, and we'll really see what he has. Whenever he got into the open field, he looked primed to break it if he got a block or two and could shake a defender. That's what you want to see in a running back.

Anyone see that play Cam threw deep into double coverage and CAP was standing at the line with his hands up and no one near him? I was very confused by that

I thought he looked fairly slow compared to Stewart. Not bad just kind of slow.
