What magic fukin button is a new coach going to push thats going to change the style we play.. do you remember the last style we played... seifret years... and that got us an nfc championship??? a superbowl appearance??? Hell no.. it was average at best... Evryone think Cowher is the saviour... I like the guy but its not going to happen over night. Our D needs to man up.. did anyone even put Ryan in the turf?? Nope. Also I mean this playing off the man 5 yeards sucks ass and we will get caught on by every tightend in the leauge.

Nice Rah-Rah speech! The bottom line is we're 0-2 and it ain't getting any easier. Most of us are tired of watching this boring style of football. Its old and we need a change. The good thing about all of this is the more losese we have the closer Fox and his whole damn staff are to being the hell out of here. Sorry, this poo has ran its course. Time for a new direction which should include a whole new mindset and attitude. We are soft, period!

I am starting to get on the fire Fox bandwagon. I was just so angy at the defenses ability to not get off the field on 3rd down. This has been a problem with this team for years!!!! 12-4 last years - so what. The defense was not spectacular and got shredded plenty.

There are other things I could go on and on about. I just dont see this team ever getting back to the Superbowl with Fox as the HC and this season can easily turn out to be a losing one. Yeah yeah we are only 0-2 and I will be sitting here next Monday night thinking the Panthers will win and they might - I will also feel that way with every other game this season. It would be great if Fox gets this team into the Playoffs, etc.

Yet... if this team continues to struggle and are at .500 or lower or even higher at the trade deadline ---- I say try to trade Peppers, get back into the first round and maybe some other picks - and consider bringing in a new HC next season. There is to much talent on this team and I just fear, sadly , its all going to go to waste under this currrent staff.

gotta agree. new coaching means the players have to adjust to new styles and schemes. which ultimately means more mistakes till they get it. which means it takes a year or two and thats a risk cause you might be going from the fryin pan to the fire. give meeks a chance. and by a chance i mean watch the ENTIRE season before making judgments. agreed, defense played like poo but its gonna take some time. not trading our 1st round draft pick several years in a row would be a good start too.

If everyone wants a new coach so bad... why not Jeff Davidson.. its clear he has shown he can adjust and make the changes when needed. What complaints on offense do we have. I mean come on if I told you Jake would throw for 300 yards and 1 int at the end of the game... would you have believed it last week. NOPE... so im up if they want to let fox go mid season and make davidson interim HC.

What an Atlanta D as questionable as ours??? Where did you get that stat from? An injury riddled Eagles?? We gave them most of the injuries.. also the Eagles were picked to win the East... sooo.... I dont know where you comming from on that one. Yes I agree if we dont fix our D and Special Teams were screwed.. however I dont feel as bad.. because we fixed our O so why cant we fix our D??? SERIOUSLY!

Yeah...we are starting to establish a pattern that I dont like.... Same bullshit plays and outcomes that dont equate to success, no chemistry, and plenty of rediculous baffoonery....i.e. Jakes crazy throw away, the blocked punt...All of which we've seen before...

    • When Parcell’s said Bryce better “walk on water”…..the implied concern wasn’t that the tiny QB could survive being hit.  It was acknowledging he would have to be extremely special to overcome the handicaps he would face at this level.  Which he isn’t and can’t.  which isn’t just being hit.  It’s being able to play in an NFL pocket and make NFL throws from it….and that ultimately is Bryce’s problem.  He doesn’t play well from a NFL pocket and can’t make all the throws as needed.  He can’t see as others can.  Which impacts the throws he does and doesn’t take.  It also impacts him bailing and killing plays and turning them into scrambles/dead plays
    • 9:30 kick off here in Scotland, which is better than the 01:20 early hours of Monday that I feared. Will definitely be watching, but probably wouldn't if it had been 0120 as I need to be up for work at 05:45. Falcons Saints is 6pm on the Sunday so will watch that too if it becomes relevant
    • So much revisionist history around the pre-draft Bryce hype. The media was practically united in saying that if he were a couple inches taller he'd be the perfect prospect and it was just a question of whether he'd hold up in the NFL being that small. The Panthers did not create the mythos around him they were just the team that bought in. The team was largely praised for the move after and for surrounding him with what was considered an all-star coaching staff at the time.  Yeah part of the fanbase wanted Stroud but let's be real, we're coming from an oversized franchise QB who injured himself out the league. There was some analysis here on the limitations of Bryce's game but people were mostly just concerned he was going to turn into dust when he got sacked in the NFL.
