Makes a little more sense now knowing it's what they think these players will do in the upcoming season because just like Jangler said, Cam is going to have to prove himself every season.  Most people think he's going to come nowhere close to the production he had last year....smh.

OP is misleading.  Its a prediction for 2016. Not ranking players off this past season. 

 

It is a ranking off the previous season to predict the upcoming season..                     The same as NFLN top 100,  Pete Prisco's top 100,  basically most of the top 100 rank/prediction lists out there. 

Of course the writer of the usa today list utilized last season while trying to make his predictions,   just like everyone else does.  He even cited and brought up last season for several of the players.      

I didn't mention that he implied it had nothing to do with last season,  and was solely a prediction based on the upcoming season,  because I saw that he was full of poo.    Since it is pretty clear he used last season to build the foundation of his predictions for 2016.

So he believes Cam will regress according to this ranking since Cam was the MVP and now he has multiple players including QBs above him.
