I think it could happen in the endzones. The middle of the field will probably be decked out in their vnecks and button downs, but the rowdy's hang out in the endzone....at least the south end. Not to say that the north end isn't rowdy too, just never sat there...

Only time we've had black endzones is when they've had too paint the endzone to disguise how they were painted for the bowl game. Painting them black was the only good way to do it.

The reason that the endzones were black back then was because of the car care bowl and they covered the names of the college team names up with black but it is still really cool
