Week 1 of 2008 was the last Def TD.

December 14, 2008 was the last time a team didn't score at least 28 points against the Panthers.

Giants: 34 points

Saints: 31 points

Cardinals: 33 points

Eagles: 38 points

Falcons: 28 points

How 'bout that Panther defense y'all?

We've lost four of our last five games, eight of our last nine if you count the preseason.

Lewis sucks. We have no pass rush. You play cover-2 with no pass rush and decent teams will march down the field with ease every time. We should have dropped Peppers, signed Albert Haynesworth, and drafted 2 promising DE's. Signing Vick would have been a good idea as well, if not for the fact that this is the deep south and Vick is a black a$$hole. Notice how the secondary is trying to and cause fumbles, rather than tackle properly. It's called desperation, which is the mode Hurney and Fox are in right now. Also, if I see Peppers held one more time, I'm gonna start writting the NFL or something. Why pay so much for a DE who will only be held?

    • It's not sustainable,  although he deserve credit for the win also, as he made clutch plays as he does with every win we have.
    • As much as I would love to sit here and bash on Young.  I can't.   He is absolutely a part of this team winning.  He is the cool hand leading the offense along with the hammer, Rico.  He's making plays on 3rd and 4th downs, that are absolutely helping thus team win.  Is Bryce playing as well as we'd like? Nope. Although he had only 1 week off from a high ankle sprain.   No question he was 100% in the Greenbay game.  I'm not even sure where the team would find a clear upgrade over Byrce.  He is a leader.  In the 4th quarter, he has ice in his veins.  He is a part of why our team is enjoyable to watch again.  Without him, we wouldn't be winning.    Anyways.  Y'all enjoy yet another thread designed to tear down the man.
    • Great article on all the Lil Canes attending their debutantes ball. Walt with a great breakdown of all the rookies, as always, and I'm a huge fan of his team coverage, he is truly a treasure, but as a fan of mixed metaphors and superfluous language which some might ignorantly refer to as a "run-on sentence" I never really understood what that mean or where to put the comma after a quote in the middle of a sentence, but holy poo Walt, this is a gem, "While there's a long road left in front of them left to determine whether or not they'll have that same success on the blue line again, the beginning stretch of the journey has been thrown a wrench, and the story on defense has been the emergence of up-and-comers forced into becoming lineup regulars." , bravo, take a bow, sir!
