Olsen, TD, and KB all directly spoke out about it tonight. Rivera spoke out in his own way, but largely talked around it. Cam was the only one that avoided the questions. At some point, he's going to have to risk a fine and some negative press and stand up for himself at the podium.

That's good to hear.  My local news only mentioned Olsen and said Rivera basically gave the generic non-answer about needing to look at the tape.  Honestly, IMO, Rivera is the one that needs to speak up about it.  In basketball, coaches often go to the media with complaints about officiating so as to bring attention to it.  Usually once the coach does it, people listen and the spotlight is that much brighter.  There is so much Cam hate out there that I honestly don't think it matters what our players say or do at this point.  Someone in a position of authority needs to aggressively speak up for him.  I hate the fuging NFL.

He's rubbed some people the wrong way a few times here and there, but he isn't holding back in his observations of what happened tonight:

I wish some of our guys (outside of Olsen who spoke on it tonight) would go full rage mode on a presser about it.  For this to be ignored is for it to be condoned.  The NFL doesn't give a poo about right or wrong, sportsmanship, or letting play on the field decide the outcome of games...  And they certainly don't care about player safety.  They care about money.

The motto in the NFL that is not allowed to be spoken of is you must cheat to win without getting caught. The NFL is fine with it as long as the teams keep it in house. If it gets out and begins to tarnish the brand, then they have to create a spectacle of showing they care about the integrity of the game.

Now the Panthers do not cheat to win and play fairly clean. They need to try to injure players. They need to teach how to get away with spearing, holding, hitting the QB in the head, and leg whipping the QBs legs while bending them backwards. All the champions do this. They all test the refs to see what the NFL will let their team get away with in games.

Now, the NFL is a billion dollar industry. Anyone who believes they value the integrity of the game over money is naive. They will do whatever is necessary to make more money, and they will feed the machines desired outcome as best they can. They pay very well to create a shiny shield to hide their indiscretions behind and a spin machine that can manipulate public opinion. This is every day business. You will always find cheats where fame and fortune can be found. The question is can you catch them? The one's that are caught for committing fraud get fined and can go to prison. Those who can get away with fraud become very wealthy and enjoy power. Those who are great with getting away with fraud can even become President. Those who suck at it end up on American Greed. Nations cheat in the paralympics and public schools even cheat for status and money. It is not just the energy companies and big banks.

The truth is that it is always happening. Will it be conspiracy theory or scandal. The only thing that seperates the two is proof, but we all know a lack of proof does not mean cheats, liars, and frauds exist.

Rivera needs to speak out as well. He's the head coach. That's why nothing will ever be done about the cheap shots Cam receives. What Rivera said tonight about the situation was totally unacceptable.

Ron Rivera has to fall in line or he will lose money and eventually his job. The NFL can make sure of it with loses and then telling the owner, "You will never win with that coach."

Very mafia like the way the NFL does business.
