I don't know about that.  We used them early but Denver was loud and we had to battle that early atmosphere.  It worked.  We had a nice lead going into half.

Players couldn't even hear each other on the bench sitting beside each other at times early in that game.   We used them.  Built a good lead.  

First drive was a 70 yard TD drive.  Which was huge for us controlling that first half and first half atmosphere

Time management isn't an issue Ron has, being too conservative is. Most of those drives we are playing for field goals
