There's this thing called confidence with rookies. When you have a QB throwing for 500 yards and a receiver going for 300 yards, it kills your confidence tremendously. 

The fact is, the defense isn't good. That's just what it is.

I agree with this sentiment, but need to add...  Bene isn't a rookie and he got torched.  It just goes to show none of those guys (minus Bradberry) are particularly good.

Which is crazy. For all the blood, sweat and tears we have put into the defense...it is the offense that has to keep us afloat while our "elite" defense gets it together. Just unbelievably sad.

If we didn't have a history of turning slow starts into good seasons I'd be freaking out more. I knew we would struggle with rookies but I never imagined this badly. We are the very least need to bring peanut back
