With a defense this bad...

How was there not ONE onside kick attempted? Worst case scenario, they still score to kill any momentum the offense generates, but they take less time to do it at least.

I was screaming at the top of my lungs to anyone that would hear me to attempt an onside after Cam and the O tied the game up, but of course, River-balls-less Ron kicked it deep. Might as well have handed the Saints the game.

Your precious D has been lit up for 38 points, what makes you think they're going to get a stop when one of the best QBs in NFL history only needs to get 3 points with 3 min and 2 TOs?!

fug me.

I was yelling to kick it short to force them to return the ball and hope for a turnover or a stop at the 10 or something.. better than kicking it deep and giving it to them at the 25 yard line.. I swear to fuging christ the panthers are the only team still kicking it deep.

    • If you need someone to run your multi-billion dollar business, maaayyyybe don't hire a guy whose previous work experience includes repeated blows to the head and literal brain damage but IDK.
    • Extrapolate that with every QB for that matter. I guarantee you there's quite a bit of missed opportunities and yards left on the field for everyone. Many NFL QBs deal with WRs not putting in A+ effort, subpar o-line play and other deficiencies. The great ones are able to rise above these issues and create opportunities for plays. Guys like Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes can both play in and out of structure, as well as find ways to get yards when things break down and mask mistakes by throwing guys open, creating opportunities from nothing, etc. Bryce Young has only shown he's able to make things happen when the rest of the team picks up his slack. Very rarely does he create those opportunities himself. When this is a consistent pattern year after year with Bryce where he shows up lackluster, it's a concern. This is year three and he should be elevating the team as a first overall pick this franchise traded up for.  He was far from elevating anyone against JAX. In fact, he needed others to elevate and create for him. Excuses may be fine for a rookie, but this is year three for the first overall pick. Not looking good so far.
    • I think the worst issue is coaching. Countless bad snaps, XL not getting his feet in or trying on runs plays, our centre being down field when he didn't need to be. All seem to be from poor coaching for me. I believe Canales is to soft to rip the players a new one when the fug up. Plus I honestly believe that Canales is slow getting his plays in giving Bryce less time to diagnose and adjust to the defence. Don't worry I could of head butted Bryce for that fumble and the 4th down throw aways but the other plays are explainable to me
