Can Shaq play some MLB?

It's not harsh it's reality. We went up against a pass first team why are we starting a liability against the pass? We knew this from last season 

 

I guess getting into the pro bowl as OLB means you suck.

He made the pro bowl after he switched to MLB. I never said in this thread klein was amazing. I just said he was decent. You are confused. You say "I told you so" but I didn't say anything to you to warrant that.

No he didn't, he made the pro bowl as a OLB which he started 10 or 12 games at.

 

Either way I'm almost positive Shaq would have done better.

Shaq hasn't played MLB for us in two seasons. He would not have been better.

I think remember the year you are referring to with Beason. I think it was 2009. During the year he moved to OLB bc TD got hurt right? James Anderson beat him in tackles because of his switch to OLB. He did move back to MLB and got a bunch more tackles. He had the worst year of his career as a starter that year. Yes he did make pro bowl that year, but I'm pretty sure a couple guys backed out. Comparing Beason as an OLB to an MLB...he was way better as an MLB.

Beason had a good if not great season. When you're playing OLB you're obviously going to get less tackles and teams avoided running and passing to his side like a plague.

 

Conor on the other hand was average at MLB and teams weren't afraid of exploiting him

Completely agree. But you just agreed with me on Beason. He wasn't as good at OLB.

Again, shaq has never played and probably never practiced MLB for us. You can't just throw him in there. Beason played OLB his rookie year he knew what was going on. I loved Beason he was one of my favorite Panthers of all time. He was still not as good at OLB..I'm still trying to figure out how you told me so.

Considering I saw TD calling out the plays today and we play 2 LB most of the time he could easily filled in Klein's role. Klein wasn't doing anything special today inclined Shaq couldn't do.

 

I guess is your voice against his pro bowl vote. BTW Beason played MLB his rookie year, he was OLB at Miami
