Any High School Teachers here?

Do any of ya'll teach or have taught high school before? I'm considering taking the PRAXIS to add high school grades to my teaching license and was wondering how was it? How does/did it compare to other grades?  Was the PRAXIS tests crazy hard?  etc.

I took the business education PRAXIS right out of college and it was a breeze. Added marketing 20 years later (just found a study guide that I glanced over). 

Depending on the subject and your level of education in that area, but I've heard some of the subject areas tests are really tough.

I took the Middle School ones while still in college without really studying and they weren't too bad. I've heard that the high school ones were different though.

High school praxis are subject specific. I took the social studies one and passed the first time. There were people there taking it their 3rd and 4th time. I was a history major so it wasn't that hard in my opinion. That was 9 years ago.

I teach business at the high school level.  Did not think the PRAXIS was that difficult when I took it a few years ago.

Tried to add Social Studies last year and failed the test by a couple of questions.  Was pretty tough as it covered from the beginning of history until recently.  Will probably try to take it again over Spring Break.

2014.  I spent 21 years in the Air Force and six working at the DMV before becoming a teacher.  I am an old fart.

Awesome! Class of '93. Been in the classroom 24 years. Trying to figure what I'm going to do when I grow up.
