Prospect Report: Cooper Kupp

I just want to upgrade our WR corps with some real WRs. If this guy can be part of that, great.

Seems like Gettleman always talks about WRs who can run the full route tree, etc. But then come draft day, he falls in love with a huge guy with potential and forgets all about that other stuff and screams

Right now, we have two oversized WRs with limited route running ability and ability to create separation. One of those guys at least uses his size and attacks the ball well. The other guy, well, he's big. The other two guys who round out our WR rotation are a former 1stbround bust who runs like a deer but drops a lot of balls and a former UDFA who was brought in primarily as a return man but sucks at that so let's give him some run at WR since we don't really have anyone else anyway.

That's our current WR corps in a nutshell. We have to get better there. I'd like to see is bring in a vet AND add a draft pick.

    • Rods the one who needs to go if they don't win a cup soon, Overall I like the way Tulsky operates, do i wish he had pivoted to several smaller moves instead of going all in on a big acquisition? Obviously.   But RBA is the one I'm locked onto, he is too stuck in his ways and if if "his way" can't get somthing done he just triples down and proves his insanity by trying the same stupid crap over and over, the facebook casuals will be like but but but 8 years in a row making the playoffs.... yes we'll guess what we should have at least a cup to show for it, yes only one team wins every year but this year will be the 8th consecutive year making the playoffs.... heck none of us even get excited about that and haven't in four years minimum.  Our top guys are nearing the peak of their prime the time is now, but the canes seem content to stand pat and "make the playoffs" anther 5-8 years in a row.
    • #Panthers TE Tommy Tremble has a $2 million guarantee that is triggered today at 4 p.m. I don’t expect any movement there, fwiw. Tremble is due a $3.67 million base salary this season. He has another $2.4 million in incentives on his deal, per Over the Cap. https://x.com/mike_e_kaye/status/2032117015121391697?s=46&t=xeIgh_-Vr2aKxBkBJdfnKA
    • If we could somehow get Salyer and Decker I'd take both and trade Stone Forsyth for a barrel of trash can punch.
