FA Target: Barry Church, SS

This thread actually got me to realize TJ McDonald is a free agent.  I remember wanting him bad that draft of his and he's been good so far in his career...but he got in some off-field wreckage recently.  A year probation or something, substance abuse class and incoming suspension.

Yea I liked McDonald too. Thought he was a better player than Taylor Mays, but guys still kept on comparing him to Mays. So he fell in the draft.

Loved Tony Jefferson coming out too. But I mean I'm just a middle class man that watches football from the couch. I'm not a million dollar GM.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that barring a change of heart, free agent S Barry Church is expected to sign a four-year deal with the Jaguars worth over $6 million per year.

The Redskins and Panthers were also linked to Church in recent days.

Church, 29, wound up signing on with the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent out of Toledo back in 2010. He played out his rookie contract and later signed a four-year extension with Dallas.

In 2016, Church appeared in 12 games for the Cowboys and recorded 85 tackles, two interceptions, a forced fumble and four pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 11 safety out of 89 qualifying players.
