Seating at RBC

Heading home to Durham this weekend to watch the VT/Duke game and wanted to go to the Hurricanes opening night game. I found some tickets fairly cheap but they're in 332 which is upper level behind the goal. How are these seats ? is it worth it to pay extra to get somewhere on the sides of the ice and not behind the goal?

probably shitty. Fork over the extra cash and get lower levels if you actually want to enjoy the game.

Anything on upper level that is more than three rows from the edge really isn't worth it. Pay the extra and get closer to the ice. You won't regret it.

idk, i prefer 330 sections..

gives a great view of the action, good angle, and you can see everything.

I've sat on the lower level corners/sides but i like being able to see everything behind/on the boards.

It's the same angle they use in NHL video games

I sat in section 332 for the conference finals last year. You'll be on the side where the canes shoot twice. I didnt think the seats were bad at all.

Yeah, suck it up and sit between the blue lines! Anything above row E is great, your eye level with the glass at that point and can see just about everything. Plus youll have quick access to snacks and beer at the priority lounge

We'll suffice it to say, there isn't a bad seat in the house.

Well, any seat in sports is better than no seat at all. But considering the difference in price, I always just consider it worth it to pay the little extra and get closer.
